- Hey folks, as promised and a day late for WIP Wednesday, let's make these Legions Imperialis Tokens look nicer and last longer.
I was disappointed with the thin card tokens that came in the Legions box. So I grabbed the following;
- 1" Circular Craft Punch
- Scissors
- 1" Bottlecap Stickers (mine are from Beadaholique on Amazon)
- Sharpie
- Clear Elmer's Glue
- A Dollar Store Bead organizer
...and went to work. Let's make these things last and look a lot nicer!

Coin capsules for coin collectors are also a possibility. That’s what I did for making infiny tokens
Thanks for that suggestion; I'd not heard of coin capsules before.
Same... got 500 from online chinese store way cheaper than this ones and the plus is that you can change the images any time. The downside is that they dont look as good.
Btw my ocd dont support that white part on the cuts... for the sake of god... do some edge bleeding margin xD
Actualy... cabochons are the ones that make tokens prettier, as they are glass that magnifie the images , make them pop up. The downside is that they are rounded and not flat, so you can just use for 1 side
Those are what lots of people use for the Arkham Horror LCG as well. Love the way they feel when using as well as how they look.
Do I need to do this? No. Will I spend too much on 3rd party tokens? Yes. Am I still going to spend £20 on craft materials so that I can do this? Hell yes! Love this hack. Thank-you
The nastiest surprise of the box, such a weird decision when other games (Necromunda for example) have really nice, high quality tokens.
I did this with my This is not a Test tokens after seeing yours in your older videos. Those clear domey sticker things are great.
Very useful! Not many people do gaming aid videos so that was pretty cool.

These are the cheapest set of "tokens" GW has ever released. I could not believe they actually released something of such low quality.
Cos they're probably going to release a "premium" set of plastic tokens as an upgrade. Gotta milk that cow.
Yea these tokens surprised me. I have paid much less for table top games with decent tokens like Crisis Protocol

Would coin cases work for these token? I’ve seen people put the Marvel Crisis Protocol tokens in coin holders.

For the objective markers did you not want the darkened out lettered versions for the opposite side? Instead of the blanks?
This is a pretty cool trick. I wonder how long before we start seeing tons of STLs for the tokens cropping up (if they haven't already)?
I’ve already seen a few, and lots of companies are doing laser cut acrylic too, ordered some from Art of War studios, was cheaper than the hole punch!

Do you think putting the adhesive caps on both sides is worthwhile? I’m thinking it might be easier to flip regardless of what side it’s on, and extra durability? Overkill perhaps?
I've done mine on both sides. Didn't like the finish with it on only one and it will protect the "card" better.

Did I miss where the larger token print came from? That which gets punched and bubbled etc?
It’s just the sheet out of the box. You just don’t punch them out, you cut them from the board.
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Oh, I thought the point was that these were "larger than what came with the game" as you implied that the originals were "too small and hard to pick up" Sorry for misunderstanding.
@@jonmattison3939they’re printed larger than they are punched out of the box. I’m punching the whole image as opposed to losing the margin out of the box!
