@@GamerZakh I figured out a faster way to build roads (or anything for a certain number of spaces): if you want like 16 houses, then just look at the cost of the road which should be 16+2 x 4 for the first road (=72), 16+1 x 4 for the next 2 lines (68) and only 16x4 for the last (64). same thing in Caesar 3 for the 9x9 or 7x7
Wow, finally Cleopatra, such a great game, also a certain uptick in difficulty compared to Pharaoh :) I guess some of the missions will give you a hard time, have fun playing
I'd love to see it working in 1080p natively without any problems, all bugs could be removed, new graphics/assets could be added, new missions etc. Yes, it's a great game, but it still could be better if done today
Actually there is incoming a game (however can't recall the name right now) in full 3D, pretty similar in terms of gameplay to Pharaoh, however it's still not accessable even as pre or early Alpha.

I've never seen the Cleopatra Expansion, probably because my copy of Pharaoh didn't have it. So it's exciting to see whole different map's and buildings available. One of the first things you want to do if you can export pottery and chickpeas beer, copper ill get mining and production going as quickly as possible and set up as many trade routes as possible. Import whatever i need to get my housing levels up then eventually you wind up with a stupid amount of money. The only reason ive never beaten this game the kindom level is kinda hard on some missions.
my favorite childhood strategy game, along with age of empires 2 and Warcraft2, if you follow comments, please play the Quest for glory games, it's full of jokes and cool games, a hug from Brazil, I really follow all your content 🥰😁

It's possible but it can be hard or expensive to do. Emperor had multiplayer but it was very basic, but if you add a layer of grand strategy to the map and then improve military to be like Stronghold, AoE, Crusader Kings, or Total War then maybe.
Why is your screen scrolling smooth? I tried play Pharaoh and can't stand the scrolling and font readability. Screen scrolling is very rough like stuttering and font colour + its background colour makes it hard to read, it made my eyes pain because I had to be very close to the screen. I was using wide-screen patch mentioned in this video's description.
Hey! You need to get the Pharaoh Resizer app made by crudelios. It will make the game fit your screen. Might have to set the in-game resolution setting to the highest one.

If you buy it from GOG.com it will run on modern PCs fine. Pharaoh and Cleopatra come together, but if you're getting the game from another source then Cleopatra needs Pharaoh to run.
@@GamerZakh So I'm back with a little update: Pharaoh on CD runs on Win 8.1, praise Osiris! 🙏 However, I'm not sure if I've installed Cleopatra properly. First I've installed Pharaoh and it worked well. Then I installed Cleopatra and when I clicked on the Pharaoh icon, there was some kind of error... So I've uninstalled Pharaoh and reinstalled it. Pharaoh works fine now but I'm not sure where Cleopatra is. No icon on the desktop, nothing. How do I know if Cleopatra works? I used to play it yeeeears ago and I don't remember if it had a separate icon. Any ideas what went wrong?
@@lacrima152 I'm not sure as I haven't used a CD for it in like 20 years, but if Cleopatra installed you'll see a Cleopatra section of missions when you go to Choose a Mission screen.

I finished Pharoah, saw the scorpions on the map and clicked away and closed the game. Went back to Caesar3 and tried to beat Londinium even following your forced walker method and layout for the palaces and it just doesn’t work. I can’t get enough olive oil and wine even without giving it to anyone else to get through the city to the nearby warehouses even on the Augustus mod. They just devolve and I now have over 1M denari just letting it run for years. So I am back to watching this to see if the scorpions are that big of a deal and if Cleopatra is doable
You can just surround the scorpions with statues and they'll be trapped and no issue. If you need help though you can share screenshots or your save files on our discord, I or others can help see what's wrong.
Don't worry, got the last 3 Han missions rendered and that's going out tomorrow and for the next 2 weeks for 3 episodes. Then once Two Point Hospital finishes for streams I'll probably be able to replace it in the schedule with Emperor.

The only way to keep your gods happy is to through a festival square. Shrines just place a temporary band aid on the problem.
That's not true, you can spam shrines and the gods will never be unhappy. I've gone decades in game without a festival square.

It could be your scroll speed is too low. In-game, mouse to the top of the screen and you can change the scroll speed.

You can just surround the scorpions with statues and they'll be trapped and no issue. If you need help though you can share screenshots or your save files on our discord, I or others can help see what's wrong.
What happened to Emperor? I was hoping that you'd continue with one video per week like you did with Caesar III...
Don't worry, got the last 3 Han missions rendered and that's going out tomorrow and for the next 2 weeks for 3 episodes. Then once Two Point Hospital finishes for streams I'll probably be able to replace it in the schedule with Emperor.
