    I’ll say the Steelers had the greatest top 10 plays and I’m not a Steelers fan. Lynn Swan had some incredible catches and when it was counting down to number 1 there was zero doubt which play it was going to be. Franco Harris did one interview where he said something to the effect he started believing that not only was he on a great team but after that play he started believing they were going to have the breaks go there way, in other words luck is believing you’re lucky.

    This is a great video. Most videos on RUclips labeled “greatest of all time” seem to define “all time” as the last 20 or 30 years. It’s great to see Sammy Baugh, Bobby Layne, Steve Van Buren, Alan Ameche, et.al. in this video. Actual historical perspective is pretty rare nowadays, so thanks for this.

    • @porkchopps
      @porkchopps Год назад +2

      I think some of it has to do with the fact that a lot of videos labelled as "Greatest of All Time" have easier access to clips from the last 20-30 years as home recording was much more common. So outside of some documentaries made, older clips aren't readily available and when they are, they're not always easy to find. Of course a video made by the official NFL channel is going to include a lot of clips you don't see anywhere else as they have access to their vault footage.

Over the helicopter play, over TD breaking the 2000 yard mark, over Miller's SB50 strip sack, over the Drive, over Bailey's 99 yard int, over Prater's 64 yarder, I could keep going. You guys got this one dead wrong.
