Thanks for taking the time to make this guide. It has improved my play and really helped me make the right tech choices for the current meta. I hope to see more videos from you in the near future.
Against freeze mage you usually want to take as little damage as possible. So try not to tap too much and if you can save reno/healing for after alexstrasza. Also kazakus is important cause you want to get armor to survive the burst. Other than that try to pressure him with your minions so he doesn't have the time to draw his whole deck.
Great guide man , I really enjoyed hearing another opinion upon playing my fave reno deck! I only disaggree with the CW matchup gameplay about tapping as much as possible. Most CWs (to be specific the more inexperienced ones) tend to draw a lot (slams, blocks, acolytes) so going in fatigue after they do is really a big deal in favor of Renolock. Oozing their gorehowl and maybe forcing them to Gromm is just gurranteed win so in conclusion there is not much need to rush draw our deck. (btw I personally prefer Jaraxxus over Alex) Nevertheless again a great guide. :)
Hey, thanks for your comment. I do have to disagree with you. Fatigue is almost never a win condition with this deck due to having the worst hero power for that. Drawing is correct for the Control Warrior because they need to find their answers for your theats. That means you have to tap as much as possible because you have a lot of situational cards that aren't really useful against control warrior so you want to find the useful cards because warriors generally won't draw enough answers.
Great guide, already had a pretty good idea of mulligans but this reenforced it. I have been struggling with pirate warriors however 0 - 6, have u got any tips. I mulligan aggressively for cards like doomsayers and Reno but I never get them. It is probs worth only have wing 1 of blackrock.
I wouldn't draw too many conclusions off 0-6, everybody has bad streaks sometimes. If you mulligan for those cards and you don't get any, it's just bad luck. Lately a lot of people have been playing the combo of bloodsail corsair + patches in renolock to make this matchup better. A sunfury protector or soulfire also makes this matchup a bit better if you can fit it in. Other than that, try to plan a bit ahead to maximize lifegain over the next few turns, even missing a lifetap is fine if you already have cards for the next few turns.
Not really. I think its uses are kind of limited and while for example getting reno back against aggro is nice, you often have already won after you played him.
There isn't anything that can directly replace Kazakus, so use whatever you like. Without kazakus, brann might not be worth it and can be replaced by another value card. Also if you don't have kazakus, i'd probably run jaraxxus instead of alexstrasza as you lose a lot of value without kazakus.
not much to say here, great guide, well structured :)
Thank you! Great to hear that :)

Great Guide disagreed with some of the mulligan decisions but you also made me second think some of my own mulligans. Keep it up
What in particular did you disagree with? Regardless, I always find the mulligan one of the hardest parts of the game.
Very Good Guide man
Thanks!

Good guide. I liked your deck it then inspired me to make another similar deck! Good stuff :)
Great to hear that!
Better then Zeddy :)
Excellent guide. Please make more!
Thanks, and I definitely will!
did you consider brewmaster as a deck tech?
Not really. I think its uses are kind of limited and while for example getting reno back against aggro is nice, you often have already won after you played him.
nice guide, play a few games in your next guide maybe to show some examples or make a seperate video with gameplay
Thought about doing that, but I feel my stream kind of fills that role cause I played this deck a lot there. Maybe i'll do it next time though.
yeah just upload stream footage like all the other big streamers
I dont have kazakus what can replace him? and is brann not worth including w out kazakus?
