Im very surprised that white cat clay came in cling wrap. That seems like someone already used it or broke the bag and decided cling wrap was a good idea to cover it in. But i also think the monster clay is the tougher brand of the cat clay.
I bough some slimes from Aliexpress last year and they were also packaged in the same way so I think it's not that unusual in China. Definitely cheaper and easier than factoring extra costs for a plastig bag. However it still didn't feel too nice as some of the clay liquid pooled on the plastic and felt pretty gross!
@@maqaroon That's super gross!, I remember seeing a review on Aliexpress of there being even mold in some of there slimes. I just hope that the factories making slimes and clays figure out a cheap way to make plastic baggies so they stay nice! (also thank you so much for the heart!, nearly had a heart attack when i saw it😅.)
@@strawbxrry.winter2774 the gross part is you dont know what that liquid could be, it can not be from the clay. I would be concerned because the liquid could be toxic! I just want to make sure that no one else has that happen to them with the clay. You really dont know what they put in the clays...
chicken clay seems really interesting, especially the stretchy part! but i agree, monster clay does seem well rounded for all crafts! and the macaroons you made turned out so cute 😭😭💕💕
Her: Even though I can speak Chinese I can’t read it. Sameee.... I can read like max 200 characters? I get lost over seas so much that I always need my cousins to go anywhere.
You’re amazing! I am always shocked at how you can literally craft anything. Here’s a little rhyme I made: 😊 Put any clay in Joanna’s hands, Watch how perfectly each beautiful piece lands. I know it’s short, but I tried my best to show my appreciation for her! Love you Joanna! 💛
I think the clay you showed at 5:18 is a Japanese brand sold in a Korean market because not a lot of Japanese clays I've seen at stores in Japan has just Japanese, English, and Korean on the packaging. If there is a Korean translation, there usually is a Chinese translation too.
I suspect that it could maybe be a simmilair situation as here in scandinavia. Very many products you buy have both norweigan, finnish, swedish and danish translations on them since they are sold in all those countries.
I’ve been watching your videos for such a long time, even before the pokemon clay flower pot you made! I love your channel so much, it makes me very happy.
Ahh so happy to see this!! The last two weeks I've been watching all of your clay videos again (for the 4th of 5th time some of them!) I'm getting back into clay creations and was debating the tubs you once reviewed from Bangood
I usually refer to those types of cheap, random brand clay as "local/domestic (air dry) clay". I always use local clay for all of my crafts, they are cheap and widely available where I live. They can be crafted into keychains or anime figures pretty well. I just need to find the right manufacturer. But it seems like most of the time, only Asian countries have these types. I had a hard time buying these clay in the US. There's only Model Magic and they are a bit too soft and chewy for my liking :'(
I've used chicken clay before. It wasn't the same brand, but everything else was exactly the same. Back then, i didn't know it was meant for sculpting shapes and crafts, so i just played with it like playdough or slime. It does wicklund and is very light. I used to add water to it if i accidentally left it out, but there were always dry lumps in it. Very fun to play with but dries out of you don't seal it.
Her videos always help me calm down. That chicken clay btw is not clay it is a dough that makes a foam rubber when dry. I had to buy some for an art class and we learned about it in that.
Yep, in spanish its known as "foamy moldeable" which could trasnlate to "mouldeable foam" or something like that. I've got a bag of that stuff in light purple.
I have used the Monster Clay it is actually a Paper Clay and I loved using them . It makes the best clay flowers . I had three of them and once after using them I accidentally left it's package open so when I took it the next time it was dried 😭😭😭😭😭 .I really loved using that Monster Clay (Paper Clay) .😁😁😁😁😁😁
I would love to be you. I love crafting, but just can't find materials in here, you are in heaven, with all the clay, slime stuffs, and all. Your life is oddly satisfying! 😆😋
Hey Joanna, I am a big fan and always watch your video! I have tried a couple of your tutorials and it was successful and I absolutely love It! Hope you have a wonderful day! 👍🐥
I used the same chicken clay for a school project, and when i put acrylic paint in it, it became super firm. So the regular clay actually took a while to dry for me but the colored one was faster. idk if the same thing happened with this one, just a thought :)
The trick to ordering on Ali is to always choose the Standard Shipping. Things usually arrive to me in two weeks, three at most. It’s usually free but sometimes costs a few dollars, worth it imo
Yep! I’ve literally never had a package get lost with standard shipping. I actually like the longer shipping time because I sometimes forget what I ordered so getting packages is like a surprise 🤣
i used to watch u all the time when i was younger but i always forgot your name so id have to search clay reviews and scroll down till i found ur vid xD

hello i love your videos and they make so happy! I made the baking soda cLAY and wondering how long it takes for it to dry fully and if u can put it i the oven. I hope you can help Maqaroon!
Hi joanna, I think I have a theory about why one of the small clays dried up. if it was air-dry clay, I think some air got into the bag causing it to dry up if it wasn't then IDK. 👁👄👁
So I'm curious of what ur thoughts would be on honey clay from donerland and I clay from Amos I use them and really like both. It's kinda like to the chicken clay. But it's different so u might like it not sure
Tbh im not surprised that one package had korean and japanese. People often travel between the countries for business and vacations and stuff. So its not the most uncommon for products to have both especially if its something popular in both countries. Like i know a lot of art supplies and beauty supplies are that way. I have a tube of korean toothpaste that has both on it yknow :0
