- One last run with Buckin's 266xp!! I'm really liking this build, the ceramic bearings along with that super nice CCC weisco piston makes for a strong saw!!

Hi Tinman, a conventional cut from above on the face cut might of made you're life a bit easier without a full wrap handle. Lovely saw, sweet job as usual.
It's not only the generation of the saw... It's mechanical differences between perfect woodman tools and beginner's. So you make this different thing. I liked. Grateful saw my friend. Best regards from Germany

That 266 is a beast!
Tinman for your up cut on Humbolt face cut use the top of bar. With out the handle you like I think that would help you out.

Way easier to cut with a half wrap if you do a conventional face. Not fighting gravity as hard so you can focus on precision
You put the saw to work, brother. The more I learn, the more that I hear and understand better what I am seeing. You had that saw buried under constant load, little to no kerf clearing and she just kept eating! I never heard her bog, or more importantly, go lean under a hard sustained load. That is a SOLID saw that'll do WORK! She ain't no basic cookie cutter!
Looks like you left a little longer suction time (intake duration) or I'm wrong 🙂

I have been caught by firewood conosieurs cutting and burning cottonwood and been told its crap. Well all I could say was its free crap and heats the old shack.
Amen, brother! I too burn cottonwood and you know what? My wood stove and my wife who loves to be warm don't mind it a bit! My wallet sure loves the price!
Nothing wrong with it, just burns faster. Easy to start fired with it for sure. We burnt nothing but cottonwood one whole winter and didn’t go cold.
