    Round barns not circular are not new but very few remain they are 225+ years old. They came about because the silo is in the middle, and the animal stalls go round outside of that. They were invented to make feeding animals less time consuming and why have two structures when you can have one for both

    I really like the fact that you put together a list like this. HOWEVER, you need to study American History! Gambrel-style came from the Early settlers, originally from their native country NOT FISHER PRICE. How silly. Fisher Price just copied what was already here.

    Framed barn? No such thing. That style is known as Timber Frame or Post & Beam, the names are pretty much interchangeable. And peeps, the kit barns still need building permits; don’t let this lulu fool you; at least if you want it to be legal and actually add value to your property, otherwise when you go to sell it will be a big negative.

    naming a gambrel with lean -tos a "peaked prairie barn" is simply made up horshit....something that needs to be cleaned out of the barn,whatever you call it!
