- In tonight's story, I take you on a historical tour of the myth of El Dorado. I discuss what the early years of the Spanish conquest of America were like, how the encounter between older European legends and the reality of pre-columbian America created new myths about fabulous places, and some of the expeditions that went on a search for El Dorado or the Cities of Gold, to the Andes Mountains, the Amazonian forest or New Mexico.

When I was about 13, I found book at library, The Sleeping Prophet, Edgar Cayce. I'd sleep with school books under my pillow hoping to absorb while sleeping. honestly if these were a non-asmr podcast, just giving intros to different myths or histories I would still listen to them! the production, research, pronunciation of names (like in the irish myth one) and everything is good

Netflix needs to pick you up for a travel show where you globe trot and tell viewers about the history, legends, and myths of the areas you visit. Our small ASMR corner of the planet is purely spoiled with this content; this channel is always next level.

In reality six of the Seven Cities of Gold have been found even today the Golden City of El Doado still waits to be found in my eyes when i see entire Mezo American empires of gold are mine and my full blooded incan friend Alexzandro Querevalo gave me the Southern Incan Empire and its golden treasures while he has the Northern Incan Empire and all it Golden Treasures i love gold and stories of cities or empires of gold becuse i see money when i see gold 😊😊
