He may have died in poverty - at least financially so - but a man who could play and compose such beautiful musical art was nonetheless gifted with a richness of spirit, personal satisfaction, and joy that most of us can only imagine! And buried in poverty and obscurity, in an unmarked grave - only to eventually become world famous - sometimes reality becomes stranger than much fiction.
Astounding coincidence. I just woke up from my Sunday nap to see this. Only an hour before dozing off I'd been thinking how much I've enjoyed his music at breakfast on Sunday mornings. It's as though you were reading my mind.
I was excited to see what you had to show us of this brilliant composer. I first learnt of Vivaldi’s music through the 1981 movie The Four Seasons with Alan Alda. I had my first daughter in 1992, 314 years after Vivaldi was born and it was his music I played to calm her and get her to sleep. It’s sad to hear about how it was for him at the end of his life, but how wonderful is it that his music is still loved hundreds of years later. Now that you’re able to have who you’re presenting speak, it brings it to a whole new level. Love what you’re doing MS ❤thank you
What an interesting video! The part where you “bring them to life” is always the best, the smile being the top peak of the experience. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Great video! I didn't know he had red hair! I've always liked Baroque music. It's always amazing to learn of every day people who lived in the past - not just famous people. We all have contributed to each other's lives in some way and it's great to remember everyone from the past.
Vivaldi was effectively rock star of his genre…while working within the constraints of the Catholic Church. Certainly, most of us have heard Four Seasons..sure. But it’s lesser known works like Jerusalem Maestae…that presents completely different aspects of his compositions. He is, in a word..sublime.
Interesting that they died 50 years apart (Vivaldi in 1741 & Mozart in 1791), in the exact same city (Vienna), both in poverty, and both buried in unmarked graves. We have no idea where their mortal remains lay today. But their music is immortal!
Wonderful re-creation of Vivaldi, I have to say I prefer the ones that stick to the original photo or painting, that means no fake smiles. Thank you very much for your videos. Best regards.
Loved this story. I always thought he was attracted to young girls. His music has a light flitter of dancing dolls. Your story come close to proving this for me.
Holding true to his vocation to the preisthood, any other relationship would have been an epic scandal to his entire family. God’s gentle guidance had something else in mind and the good servant complied
He was speaking vénitian or italian ? It's not the same language as well as napolitan or siclian languages ! As a united nation, Italy exist only since 1861.
Well Mozart was documented to have over 140 known health conditions plus 27 known mental conditions so I'd say this guy got off pretty darn easy with just Asthma
i am sure this is not his real face...exist another picture made by one of the best italian painters and this last picture has nothing to do with the picture in this video
Wow! As a devout "Vilvaldi-phile" I was thrilled to experience, if only for a minute, the man in "real" life. Excellent work!!
Love this!! A history lesson with beautiful art work and music!! Thank you!!
Thank you!...

Just beautiful.
Thank you, Vivaldi, for your music and gifts to humanity!
Beaucoup d'émotions. MERCI.

Perfect!
One of my favourites is his piccolo concerto

A true god of music. We live 100s of years in the future and his music sends shivers down our spines. What a legend!
This is wonderful!!! Thank you for bringing him to life 🙂
Our pleasure!
Thanks for the facts about Vivaldi. Now I know more about him. Good job as always! 🌸👍🌸

素晴らしい!ピッコロ協奏曲のラルゴが好き🎶
Funded an orphanage for girls , tought them violin , some of which went on to be first violinists in several European philharmonic orchestras .
A truly amazing man. It’s interesting that he ended up like Mozart…however they both are immortal to us and to God himself. 🎻❤

Soooo interesting, so sad that he dies young and in poverty, a true maestro

Fantastic!!thank you
This was amazing
Great!
Unbelievable that he died in poverty, one of the greatest composers and musicians
Not entirely true one composer didn't forget Vivaldi ...JS Bach knew and adapted some of his works ..listen to some of JS Bach's early concerti ..
Awesome 👌
Thanks 🤗

He wasn't meant to be a priest you know.😊😊
Vivaldi un Gigante della Musica Barocca...Bach senza di lui forse non sarebbe diventato il Grande Kappellmeister di Lipsia ❤😊
Can you tell me what software is used to make this video? Thank you so much my friend
WHAT?! He was a nobody when he died & his music had to be rediscovered?! Also, damn, that painting of his maybe fling was 😍
A handsome guy!🙏🏻🌷

Génial !!!!
I really never knew anything about him.😊😊
The fact that he had red hair is a testimony of his genetic heritage.😊
Why does everyone in the past have "perfect smiles". Braces were a thing back then?
I would also have composing inspiration if I was working in a charitable institution for orphan girls ! 😂

❤❤❤
He was so hot 😍
This remarkable person is also regretable. He has had not an easy life.
Thanks a lot. Well done. Wagner would be a pleasure
👍
He was born on an earthquake and was born premature
They had to deliver him prematurely because of the earthquake
⚘️...

Ha, good point but at present only Italian is available…
Yeah in the modern world only Italian will be spoken all across the world and the globe.😊😊
Have to pay homage to him you know,😊
His health problems were really weird.😊
Well Mozart was documented to have over 140 known health conditions plus 27 known mental conditions so I'd say this guy got off pretty darn easy with just Asthma
