ich finde (+ accusative) = I find
ich finde, dass… = I find that…
ich glaube, dass… = I believe that…
ich bezweifele, dass… = I doubt that…
ich bin der Meinung, dass… = I am of the opinion that…
ich bin davon überzeugt, dass… = I am convinced that…
ich bin fest davon überzeugt, dass… = I am totally convinced that…
es kommt darauf an, ob… = it depends on whether…
es hängt davon ab, ob… = it depends on whether…
meiner Meinung nach (+ inversion) = in my opinion…
Das stimmt! = That’s true!
Du hast Recht = you are right (informal singular)
Ihr habt Recht = you are right (informal plural)
Sie haben Recht = you are right (formal)
ich stimme dir zu = I agree with you (informal singular)
ich stimme euch zu = I agree with you (informal plural)
ich stimme Ihnen zu = I agree with you (formal)
ich bin dafür! = I am for it! / I am for that!
ich bin dagegen! = I am against it / I am against that!
ich habe nichts dagegen = I have nothing against it
ich bin der gleichen Meinung! = I am of the same opinion / I think the same!
Das ist einfach nicht so! = That is simply not so! / That simply is not the case!
Das ist total falsch! = That is totally wrong!
Das ist nicht wahr! = That is not true!
Das ist Quatsch! = That’s rubbish! / That’s nonsense!
Das ist mir egal / mir ist egal = I don’t mind
Das ist mir völlig / ganz egal! = I really don’t mind
Mir ist völlig / ganz egal! = I really don’t mind
Das kann sein = That could be the case
auf jeden Fall! = Definitely!
auf keinen Fall! = Definitely not!
