Way I've read it is that the reason most, if not all, of Shadow Garden's membership is female is because women and children were prime targets for the possession experiments the church had been performing. Easiest to abduct, barely put up much of a fight, and could be written off as the result of a monster attack or bandits. In the process of undoing the possessions, Cid has amassed an army of women/female assassins simply by virtue of helping out people who had already been targeted in the first place. So yeah, he's got a harem of sorts, and yeah, he created it himself...but he didn’t target women specifically, he targeted the possessed, who in turn had been women, to free them of their possession. Excellent job getting around the usual harem trope.
Anime these days have real good music. Skeleton In Another World (Pellek), Black Summoner (esp that badass piano), Lycoris Recoil (Sayuri), Reincarnated as a Slime (MindaRyn), Love is War (The Human Saxophone, Masayuki Suzuki), Cautious Hero (Dialogue + / Myth and Roid), they also did Voracity (Hail Ainz Ooal Gown!). My anime songs playlist will get larger than ever. Genshin and Doom Eternal also has very very good music.
Most likely a 2nd season is on the works, there is plenty of material for another season of 20 episodes, 4 episodes to complete the rest of Rose arc, 8 for the red/blood moon arc and the other 8 for the economy/bank war.

It's a another Isekai trope but the main character has a personality and I'm all for it
Ironically a protagonist that pretends to have no personality has more personality than most isekai protagonists
