THIS!!!!!! Oh my goodness I relate so much to this. Over the past 2.5 years of making videos for me, there has been such a mental process behind the scenes. My husband doesn't want to be on my videos anymore and so when I film, it really has to be just me in the room or outside for the most part. It has to be on my days off of work which is when I try so hard to be present with my family and things just need to get done. I've stopped filming if it's stressful or takes away from the enjoyment. It's such a balance to make it all happen. You guys have done such a great job growing your channel and people adore you, myself included! I look forward to seeing your videos and coming along this journey with your family. I absolutely LOVE that you guys have taken this moment to step back and reevaluate so you can move forward with a more clear head and direction of what you want this to be for your family. I'm here for you guys, cheering you on in all facets of your lives! ❤

There is a 360 camera mount thing that you csn get that follows you by motion that may help!! So you don't have to constantly hold the camera ❤

First off your right all that we do should line up with Gods word and secondly I was their a couple of weeks ago when my favorite hen died from a heat stroke wanted to give up and get rid of the chickens and give up my garden thirdly you are one of the few people that I enjoy watching and getting tips and ideas watching your family grow and blossom sometimes we all need to take a break from being an adult lol I’m praying for you guys may God keep y’all in His warm embrace 🙏

As a fellow creator in this space, I really understand this struggle! I hope down the line you can find a way to find balance with this. Find videos you like to make, a consistency that isn't a burden, and maybe take a break until you enjoy it again. I hear all your points though, they are very valid! Good for you! If you've lost joy in something, and it's not an obligation or a calling from God, there's no reason to continue it. If the benefit to you and your family doesn't outweigh the cost, then it's time for a priority shift.

Do what you need to! Sometimes being a content creator on youtube is a lot like being a writer, and you will get writers block. Its good to take a few steps back if you need it to sort out the stress and anxiety. And as you unwind and relax you will come to the conclusion if you really want to continue or not. And if you don’t want to you shouldn’t be forces into it because that will affect the quality of your product. If you want to stop by all means enjoy yourself, and if there is ever an event you wish to share you will have all of these people here waiting for you.

I really enjoy your valuable content. I get that filming and setting up a video can be hard. I would love more simple videos, too. Even if you don't put out a super informative, well set up video- like just a raw "day on the homestead type of video" with minimal setting up shots/editing and showing basic things you do on your homestead day to day- that would also be enjoyable and relatable to watch.

Running a farm and raising small children is a lot of work. Doing RUclips means taking up R&R, which means this man isn't getting a break. Blessings, and let God guide your heart. I hope the best for your family. You could do this once a month by defining what week would be uploaded.

I enjoy your videos and have been learning a lot about chickens through your videos. We now have a tiny flock and they're fun. I didn't really post about them, I might make a private short once in a blue moon to share with friends/family and that's it ... that's how I roll!
I totally understand about wanting to just enjoy homesteading without having the camera there, focusing on the angle, etc... i did catch that you said that you'll explain this or that in another video... I look forward to that!
Maybe you don't have to quit completely, just make videos when you feel like making them, or/and when there's a topic you want to cover!

As a uncle and as a step father I understand where your coming from you need to put them first and even before I became a step father I use to have a hobby I would do on tik tok I made secduls set up meetings with other people in that community and had days where 3 to for days out the week I was burning my self out spending 6 hour every not participating in these hobbies with these people I got to the point to where it stopped feeling like a hobby and start feeling more like a job and I was not getting any money for this this was something I was doing entirely for free just because it was something at the time I enjoyed but because it started feeling more like a job I stopped enjoying it and it took a strain on my mental health it took me losing internet completely for several months for my mental health just to start to get back to where it needed to be

I love this channel but completely understand. We'd all be better off if we took a step away from social media. It's soul sucking.
I think you should if it's not beneficial to your life. 4 kids animals and just being together with each other is hard enough. We have a small farm and raised 4 girls that are grown and married with children and surprised by a boy 13 years ago. Life is hard I also homeschool.
Don’t quit on the community you created but I respect your decision. You will always be my favorite homesteader and the best example of a Christian man leading a godly life with his family and his farm animals.
