Homeworthy!!! What have you done to me?! I watch ALL of your videos! BUT this one is beyond the realm!! I AM BEYOND IN LOVE WITH HIS HOUSE!!! I'm 74 (not dead yet!) But I felt like I had been reincarnated! Mr. Edward's home takes my breathe away. I feel that if I wew a young man I would be him! I don't want to make this too long, but please Mr. Edward's don't ever let anyone else own this home. Love it!! And THANK YOU!

I never saw a home so perfectly suited to its inhabitant: Colorful, dynamic, witty, multi-valent. My favorite components are the large-scale wall art (which, truly, does bespeak luxury), the original headboard, and the curtains hung 14" down from the tops of the windows -- for the sake of the houseplants, of course.
He balanced the mcm and modern designs flawlessly! He is the perfect person for this home, so glad he went above budget to get it lol. His style and passion is everything!

What a gorgeous home! I am an owner of a 1955 home that we renovated, but worked incredibly hard to retain key components, like the terrazzo floors, architectural window bars and sandstone brick. I love how much Ron treasures original components of this beautiful home, like the double doors and original locks. Full transparency - I am a FloorFound employee. But, I'm very glad to have our name associated with this segment and such a fine home!!

That home is a reflection of him, just perfect coloring. His jacket, that orange chair with those drapes, it all reflects him!
The Man really has style !!! The house was a architectural gem and he is so wise to recognize the 60s originals quality fixings and materials witch should be preserved and with minimum updating he obtained the optimum in style and good taste ! His clothes got my attention on first minut and now am going to check his sale piet in internet ;-)
i love his house. the kitchen was done so subtly and i bet it’s better than the original. i see so many mcm and 1970s modern houses razed or ruined with passing fads. he will continue to gently update this house as time passes. meantime, he’s done a wonderful job of preserving beautiful, irreplaceable furniture and maintaining the finishes (was that travertine in the bathroom?) while updating them with new accessories and great wit. i think he’s just fabulous. his understanding of color makes my heart sing. i don’t know why negative comments are even allowed here, when he’s so generously allowed us to spend time with him discovering his house.

Agreed! I watch a lot of home tours on YT and you rarely see us Black folks unless they are famous or they posted it themselves. It’s so nice to see someone with my skin tone owning and enjoying a beautiful home like this. I also hope to see more.
This home is truly a gem. As a PG County resident, I was amazed to learn that a property of this structure and magnitude existed in Lanham, MD. I’ve seen such styles in N. VA but the courtyard definitely has a Californian or desert vibe. ❤

I’m so happy he got his dream home. He decorated it so nicely. It’s a beautiful property. Something similar happened to us. The home we purchased had 8 offers, including ours, but the sellers accepted ours. It was just meant to be.

Let me be totally frank; sometimes, the designers on this channel are awful. Well.. I should make the disclaimer everyone has their own sense of style. However, this man hit it out of the ballpark!!! Gorgeous, gorgeous home and sense of style!! He is also sooo excited about his home design!!! I throughly enjoyed him and his home design!!!

Pills! The exact topic discussed in the doctor's office this afternoon. I like Mr. Edwards' confidence of style. The Mad Men series had an immeasurable impact on me and as soon as I saw his interior I knew he really had something very special. And then he mentioned Mad Men and another love of mine, sunken spaces, and I knew we shared a page in our stories. Please let us stay in touch with this gentleman.
Your property is a treasure chest-you are very fortunate to own it! Loved the care taken to add modern but maintain the original character. Those linen textured bathroom tiles are sublime. I used Tricorn Black in my new home too and have 1970's Henredon Scene One furnishings throughout. I have the same outfit you wore in this video- cargos/sweater/blazer in the exact colors! (love your style;-)

So exciting to see this home on Homeworthy. We moved from downtown DC to a MC home in RVA. Built in 1958. We went from a penthouse to a treehouse by the river. MidCentury is my favorite and I love your home and style

I got the most amazing 1960's sectional sofa that was covered in those zipper plastic things. It's like brand new underneath. I found it at a Habitat For Humanity store for $55.00

This home owner had me when he opened the door..... the color of that blazer. He's a delightful, down to earth and it's clear he loves his home and everything in it.
I wouldn't say it feels like a time capsule at all! It feels fresh and modern while respecting the house's heritage -- amazing job!! The only thing I'd change is to have a seamstress add french pleats to all the drapes, and to raise the drapes in the great room to ceiling height.
I agree, was just going to comment about the drapes, they don't look good in the house
But where are the kitchen drinking glasses if you have no top cabinets??

Just found this fabulous channel. I’ve never seen modern art pieces set so perfectly in a home environment. Just beautiful. I also, in my home, do not have a chair that isn’t cushioned. I also love the house wrapped around the courtyard. Superb job making a mcm home cosy.
