I tip that I saw online that i’ve been using recently is just sending a weekly update to your superiors. Just a recap of what you did, what meetings you say in, and what projects you’ve been working on. They’re super busy and probably lose track of what you’ve been doing. It shows initiative and keeps you on their minds! Hope this helps!

Amazing tips🔥 I will definitely put your advice into practice as I start my internship this week🙌 for tip one, I'm a little nervous about setting up coffee chats given we're on zoom.. but I guess it's worth a shot if I get the opportunity 👍

Is ‘I rather work with a pleasant but dumber person than work with a smarter but egoistic person’ still true in finance? Especially in IB and AM whereby it’s more technical and fast paced.
hm i dont think either is someone I'd want to work with tbh. but maybe a bit the former given that banking related work doesn't require really large levels of intelligence and most people can get banking work done with the right work ethic
Can you make a networking video for kids just starting in college. Ex- how to cold email and network with people already in the field and how to keep in contact in order to get internships through them. Thanks!
when you say be the first out in and out. Should you clock in the time you’re in office or wait till your scheduled work time to clock in and clock out later?
Hey from your experience in recruiting, how early should a CV for a summer analyst role be submitted before the deadline? I've heard that CVs submittied within 1 month of the deadline are not considered, is this true?
nope totally just depends on when the recruiting team decides to pull the resumes for review. most of the times it'll be near the deadline but it can be a black hole. best thing to do is network with people at the firm so they can help push you along the process

This is INCREDIBLY HELPFUL...I am an incoming intern at Apple and am terrified. Thank you so much!!!
I’m going to be doing a 6 month internship at J.P Morgan in Boston, MA (36hr work week)
these advise are noteworthy not even to interns, even as a working man for 10 years now I can't stress enough on quality > speed.
