    They just don't make movies like this anymore sadly, it's all CGI/AI now. This film was just brilliant in its attention to detail and effort that went into the sets, props, costumes, the storyline and the passion that went in to recreating a part of history many never knew about.

    I met Leo recently at a screening of ‘killers of the flower moon’ and of course he’s an amazing actor and if we had all the time in the world,
    I’d talk to him about other things but I was born with a birth defect and I wasn’t an emotional kid. I was taught to be resilient and I definitely didn’t cry in movies. When I was 12, I saw ‘titanic’ and I couldn’t get up from my seat I was crying so hard. I had to tell him that even though I know he doesn’t love talking about titanic. He was actually very sweet and said thank you and was so kind. He’s actually very kind and just a great listener. He listened to me intently. You can tell he’s not a big talker but it was just such a big deal for me to meet him and him let me tell him

    I think the passion of the whole cast actually transended to the audience watching the movie. It made Titanic a REAL LOSS. Up until that we had numeric figures and interviews or articles of what happened that night, but this movie of Titanic made it personal. You felt the stories of those aboard, the class seperations, the terror & uncertainty they faced that night, and inevitably the huge loss of human life, etc. For me it gave me a more personal look into a tragedy that fascinated me, but until then didnt have so many of the details of (temember pre internet). Thanks to all connected to this, it was & always be more than just an awesome movie for so many of us. Never was learning about a moment in history so entertaining that you didnt want the film to end.

  • @user-wd6ky7lu9x
    @user-wd6ky7lu9x 4 месяца назад +2

    I love the way James Cameron recreated the whole accident with so many details. Although it was an unfortunate event and not many people were aware of the Titanic accident in 1997. There were thousands of people on the vessel at that time and each had his own story to be told and heard but James chose to put a love story inside the Titanic ship accident to gave it a romantic angle and that made this movie more interesting. I still remember when I saw Kate, I realized how could any girl be so beautiful like a mermaid, so talented and so innocent..and could not get over her beauty for long years. No need to say Leo had his own mesmerizing charm that still continues.
    The actor, actress, director, producers, technicians, and staff involved got over with the movie once it is done, become a blockbuster, and an all-time hit but we as the audience, as fans never got over with the movements that we cherished with that particular movie. This is the magic and charm that the movie makers bring to our lives.

    The first movie I ever cheered and clapped at obnoxiously loud in the theatre without even knowing I did anything until it happened... the part when Rose spat right in Cal's face and shoved him away after he smacked her across the face...
    I was in the theater with my cousin, already so into the movie that I didnt even consciously make the decision to react that way. I was not quiet either, whereas everybody else was, and my cousin went bright red and was so embarrased for me and himself...( and im sure ashamed... ) which I found hilarious and cracked up laughing in a second he was so dying inside....
    James Cameron gets to you when youre a kid.
    Youve seen and watched Terminator 2 and Aliens as a kid, The Abyss... and this movie was one of the most engrossing movies to see in cinemas.
    That never happened to me before but that was still one of the funniest reactions ive had... and my cousins reacting to me was the cherry.
    Never fail to remember that when I watch the movie.

      This is what Kate had to share in a 1998 Rolling Stone interview about her experience with DiCaprio during the filming of the Renault car scene in Titanic's mailroom:
      _"Doing that scene it so wasn’t us. And yet we were so locked into what all that had to be about. The Rose in me was really sort of _*_loving_*_ the Jack in him, actually. And even though I didn’t feel that way about Leo, it was quite nice to sort of feel that way in the scene. It was quite lovely. And then, y’know, the camera stopped rolling, and he gets up and walks off, and the scene’s done. And I remember lying there thinking, ‘What a shame that’s over.’ Because it was quite nice. It was."_
