- Catalan version filmed in the Empordà and dubbed into English from the Edgar Allan Poe's tale The Oval Portrait. Directed by Carles Roman with the collaboration of Tània Henríquez and Anna Ferrerfàbrega in 2017. With music by Beni Ballesta and Andreu Roman. Performed by Arthur Strange, David Fernández, Enric Boldó and Tània Henríquez.
Its 2023 and its still helping in our studies. It is one of the toughest story to understand in our English text book. This video helped us a lot. All Nepali students can relate to it. This Video is awesome man.
I am very grateful for your comment and others. It's nice to hear that this little film helps students better understand the original story. Although there are a couple of added scenes, right at the beginning and the end, everything else is very faithful.

@@teamhunterz2841 You must to know there are two differences with the original story. The duel introduction does not appear in the original Poe's tale and in the end, the painter does not hung either.

Thanks! The movie is an adaptation the more faithful possible that I have could to do, but I added two little things no included in the original Poe's tale: the duel at the beginning and the hung at the end.

Since it is a horror (terrifying romance) story, it would be better if you could omit the beginning scene. Things are improvised. Can't grab the thrilling sensation of the story, however, it is a good venture.
