Would love to see one of these about someone not rich, white and middle class who is essentially a carbon copy and loves Matisse. No hate but they all kinda blend into one
sorry to be off topic but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Cyrus Cohen Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
There is a clear difference between criticism and being an a hole. Don't be an a hole, but if you have any critique or knowledge that you can pass on to help someone improve, definitely help each other. For her main line of work that I've seen on her portfolio, I like her color choices for the most part. She doesn't always strike a gold mine, but the palette is serviceable. I do agree that her themes are mostly similar and she could greatly benefit from stepping out of her own confines and exploring different topics. She also has some portrait work at the end that shows me a sign of technical ability. This is a good example of a break from the standard that she is showcasing, and it's a breath of fresh air. To Venetia, keep going, but don't be afraid to wander around and try some new ideas from time to time. Bless.
I apologize for whom I am about to offend.... but.... it does become very boring when one notices how many of these young London-based artists produce such derivative work?!! Art and design...so much of it looks like it's come off the same production line in a department store.
Her art aren't terrible, but it annoys me so much when people say stuffs like "female body is something that's so heavily criticized in the past." It's literally the most common theme in art, nude females.
I very much agree with the criticisms below. As a painter myself, I think these artists are more like designers who are deriving their work (mostly from Matisse). I would say they are copyists and designers, rather than fine artists or painters, nothing wrong with it exactly (and we all need our sources of inspiration) but hopefully we progress beyond it and make something more evolved, rather than devolved. What I mean to say is ; why would I be overly interested in these three when Matisse took more risks and his work is is more challenging and continues to be available as art history? What is more interesting is why this pick of three has received such focus, they seem like they move in similar circles. To be Frank, it's a little transparent and embarrassing,
I have read some of what other people are saying about your work. I will not be rude, but as an artist myself I think if you keep creating you will achieve satisfaction. I love your work please keep it up. I have a similar flare with Matisse and Lucian Freud. Blessings.Phil J
Bourgeois mediocrities were raised to elbow superior proletarian genius out of the way & to grab all the opportunities and prizes that filthy money can get its hands on. This girl has all the drawing skills of Tracey Emin and Myra Hindley combined.
Everyone is so rude in here. What if instead of throwing sh*t at women who paint however the f*ck they want, you go and create your own pieces and find some peace of mind. I don't understand why someone feels the need to put another artist down, as if making it as an artist wasn't hard enough already, SPECIALLY for women. What if painting makes her feel calm? and some strangers come and ruin her safe space with hate.
"Celebrating the female nude, something that's been heavily criticised in the past" Possibly the most ludicrous thing I've read this week. What are you talking about? Oh, God, you're so oppressed.
All of these artists are so posh. Dear oh dear. Yah.
do you make any videos of non rich white posh silver spoon girls?
😂👏🏾
They must love Matiesse too and look at his work to get "inspired" Lol

This is a show about rich city girls showing their artist lifestyle with having any talent?????
