    10-12-14mm your all set for most Toyota fasteners! The nut grip work way better than I expected them to.

    powerbuilt/tone are my go to ratchets. If clearance is an issue I have a tiny flex head 3/8 drive koken 2726z. Power tools are obviously the way to go. Milwakee Surge is my favorite. It has a hydraulic mechanism. its super quiet

    Don't give up on wobble plus extensions until you have tried the Koken version. They don't tend to lock on like the others.
    They also have fantastic knurling which has to be tried.
    Try the 3763- 32mm to start with. Combined with the Koken universal, the angles are unbelievable.
    The Tone socket rails are really good value and quality, it's worth filling up the order if buying from Japan.
    I bought the nut grips for the odd occasion but I have found I use them a lot more than I thought I would!

    With all these col tools, is there a gearwrench that has the flex mechanism the tone flex ratchet has to keep the head in place?

    9mm socket I’ve used it on some cheaper bicycle derailleur cable retaining nuts can’t think of anything else I have ever used it on.

    What about back drag of tone when compared with koken??
    Thanks for answers🙏🏻🙏🏻

      The Koken has much less backdrag resistance than the TONE.

    I'm not a fan of the Tone ratchets, but I have a fun fact for you guys. Powerbuilt has some of their ratchets made in the same Taiwanese factory as Tone. In fact, they come off of the same line. The powerbuilt 4 piece 72 tooth ratchet set #240238 are literally the Tone ratchets with a different name on the.. I dont mean they are similar or they kid of look the same, I mean they are the same exact ratchet. Tone ratchets are mainly manufactured in Taiwan and Powerbuilt have their ratchets manufactured in the same place, and they are 100% the same ratchet. They only have very subtle differences. Even the ham3dle style is the same. The Powerbuilt ratchets are significantly cheaper than the tone ratchets, and the biggest plus to getting the powerbuilt ratchets is that they have a lifetime warranty!!!! Tone does not have a lifetime warranty or any warranty for that matter... You should check that set out and tell me they arent the Tone ratchets with another name on them. Even the different rarchet sizes are the same as one another. Powerbuilt sells them in a set or individually. They also have them in flex head or fixed. They are cheaper and have a great lifetime warranty!! Check it out for yourself!!

    I have the blackhawk branded standard tone ratchets and the powerbuilt flex heads with the handle turned the right way and the astro nano long ratchets they are plenty compact but backdrag is a little much

    • @aussiehardwood6196
      @aussiehardwood6196 Год назад

      Well fix the backdrag. Open them up and remove an equal amount off each spring. Remove little bit at a time until its tuned lower than ANY ratchet you've ever used.

      The TONE HS312 has both and so does the Ko-ken RS3400MZ/12 set. On the Ko-ken nut grip sockets, I had only purchased the 8, 10, 12, & 14 initially. But now I have them in more sizes including the 13 & 15.
      Thx for watching,
