- A little while ago I made a putter and found out that I really like using it. Now that it has a permanent place in my bag...I figured that it needs a nice cover to protect it. This little video will show you what I cam up with. Enjoy.

Very cool! It's fun to watch you sort of piece it together as you went. That makes it feel very approachable to do leatherwork projects like this!
Thanks, Brent...leatherwork is definitely doable...I don't have a lot of experience with it...which is why I didn't try to make this a how-to...I just want to show people that even a hack like me can come up with some useful items.
Of course, you have to protect that awesome putter you built. That was so cool but now you show your skills of perfect stitches and you are making the rest of us husbands look bad! :-) The putter and cover look too nice to use!
Thank you, Richard...definitely not too nice to use! The best thing about being a maker is that if you damage or lose something...you can always just make another!

Hi Mark, thank you. The weather was not great a week ago, but is finally turning off good. We were supposed to be in Ireland right now so I’m missing whatever weather you are having. Hope it clears up soon.

I always wondered how to get those holes in leather that is so neat and labor intensive. I used to gold but I had to choose golf or fishing cause I can't afford both, that putter is really nice and I would be proud to have that in my bag when I played
