There needs to be a SS Minifig Series collection. A collection usually has 16 minifigs and here are my choices:
1. The Count 2. Regular Grover 3. Super Grover 5. Herry Monster 6. Mr. Snuffleupagus/Snuffy 7. Zoe 8. Rosita 9. Prairie Dawn 10. Betty Lou 11. Biff 12. Sully 13. Sherlock Hemlock 14. The Amazing Mumford 15. Guy Smiley 16. Telly
Kermit the Frog(owned by Disney) will hopefully be part of a future Muppet Show set.
I hope we get Kermit too! Those are all choices I would agree with
I agree 120% we need more Sesame Street mini figures.
Everyone heard about Ji-Young in Sesame Street but who knows Kathleen? Meet this puppeteer changing Sesame Street:)

Would love to see a minifigure series based on Sesame Street. There are so many you could do. Grover, Abbie, Teley, Oscar the Grouch, the Count and Snuffleupagus.
Yea those are figures I would have loved to see in this set too!
DONT FORGET KERMIT
I think they did an amazing job with translating this set. I get that fans really want to have that extraness, but they did make some good choices. Removing the back wall already helps with getting the lego blocks down and the basement was to cramp anyway. So the set will be cheaper removing those things.
I do miss some figures, but, like you said, those headsculpts are expansive and they do look amazing. The store makes it feel more unique than just an appartment building set and I love that they used it to give Cookie Monster a room. Now every figure has his own room, something that is very rare in Lego sets. You can really play with this set. If they do more minifigures, I hope it will be just the muppets.
I totally didn't realize that everyone had a room in this set! Great catch! I hope we get some add on sets for new characters because this one was a great set!
I got this shortly after it came out and started building it in May. (Disabled with school age children- so takes me a lot of time/energy). I’m pleased with this set- bought it because I grew up watching SS and loved the nostalgia the set includes. And love mr hoopers store. From the front, camera angles, it was definitely needed
I totally agree with you! All the little details make this set so worth it! Glad you had a good time building!
Awesome lego set and the mini figures they chose are pretty cool. I bet if they do a minifigure series based on Sesame Street, I'd love to see Abby Cadabby, Zoe, Rosita, Grover, The Count, Telly Monster, Prairie Dawn and even Julia. Also this Lego set deserves an A+.
It sure does! I would love to see a minifigure series
Don't forget Herry Monster. However, PLEASE leave out Baby Bear.
They should add Snuffleupagus with big bird, I mean he is or was a major character
Yea him, the count, grover and abby
@@TandNBricks Disagree on Abby. Hasn't been on SS long enough. Go with Herry Monster. He along with Grover and Cookie are part of the original 3 blue monsters. Add Prairie Dawn too.
@@TandNBricks when I heard Elmo talk to his fish named "Dorothy" that remind me of Dorothy the dinosaur i wish i had that set
Now that we have this set I want muppet studios
Lego actually said that while this is on shelves Muppets won't be able to happen. Maybe one day
In sweden it cost about $190 but I love the Hoopers store on the side
the lack of window in the front, over the main Door or was the most annoying think to me, thankfully I had some extra green windows and I change it a little bit and now both the Apartment building and Mr. Hooper´s store are closed, and look far way better and too cozy
That's great! I'm thinking of making it into a modular for the city eventually.
@@TandNBricks it looks great in a modular City I bet you will love it
There should definitely be a minifig collection to add to this. Both the fact that some of the best characters are missing and that the design strays far too much from the original submission were low points in this set. Hooper's is an essential part of the build as its symbolism goes far beyond its existence in the show all the way to the fact that Sesame Street was brave enough to include an episode about his death...not something you'd find in today's watered down television experience. Frankly I bought the set and I'm happy about it, but the original design for the building which would have been Ghostbuster Firehouse-sized would have been far more exciting and enticing.
I would have loved the ghostbuster sized proposal for this set. I totally agree that there should be a minifig series or additional sets. We are missing some key characters
Bought two sets and made a fat modular. The window on the side to the front, made a back out of the 2nd set. Awesome space for Bert & Ernie and Elmo's train track
That's awesome! I only have the one copy but will try and make it a modular one day!
This probably isn't gonna happen, but maybe the technic holes could lead to a muppets set as muppets is a follow on from seseme streeet
Interesting idea. Im thinking it will more likely an add on set with other sesame street characters if this set sells well
@@TandNBricks yeah probably
Like the theater, it would be so cool
More Likely we'll get an around the corner kinda thing like with the furry arms hotel and maybe a restaurant for Grover to serve food in.
I do like the look of the original
The original fan submission looks much better with greater play value for both kids and adults.
Yea I would have liked to have a modular style build for the city
@@TandNBricks Agreed! Hence I’m going to MOC based on that original submission, adding more details to the facade etc. If LEGO could have converted this set into a “ studio set” with film crew and puppeteers etc, then the L-shaped layout would have made more sense. Cheers.
@@seanmong9524 that's awesome! If you take a video let us know!
That’s gonna be an awesome set, man!
We can't wait for it too!
I like sesame street
Us too!
The original would have been nice but I also think with you. They last couple sets are pricey maybe they toned it down a little. Bought on November 1st can’t wait to see it
Awesome! Let us know if you enjoyed the build!
@@TandNBricks so I was born 6 years before this show but watched with my sister born in 1971. I have the main building made and love some of the new elements or colors. This is definitely a must build and the mini figures are truly amazing.
@@anthonyhamilton6524 aw nice!! I cant wait to build it!
@@TandNBricks so I just finished with a lot of printed elements and some new blocks. I have to say it’s adorable 🤓🤓🤪
@@anthonyhamilton6524 Aw nice! I was able to get the extra worm heart piece from a friend and I love it! Hope to get the set soon! So glad you enjoyed it!
Official 10/10
Original 15/10
I agree. I would have liked it to be like the Ghostbusters firehouse or a modular
@@TandNBricks they did the same thing with the iron man hall of armor where a year later they add to it so fingers crossed
@@teaganthedashman true that
@@TandNBricks ye
I am 100% getting this for Christmas
Nice! I cant wait to get it. Don't know when though
I Also Got This for Christmas
@@carlosdiner729 awesome!!
I know this video came out a while ago, but I do wanna say that the reason i didn't pick it up when it came out is because of Grover. Grover was my favorite character from the show growing up and the one thing I wanted was a Grover minifigure. Lego is stupid for not including him as he is one of the most recognizable a long with everyone in the set. Now that I have the Muppets, ill go back to this set, but i hope we get a CMF so I can get my Grover figure.
@@JuniorFilmsReviews A grover figure would have been amazing. I always felt like the technic pins on the side of the shop were going to lead to a follow up and it's a shame it never happened. I want Snuffy and the count tool
@@TandNBricks I totally agree, The Count, Zoe, Abby, so many iconic characters that could have been added with that price point. Snuffy could’ve been brick built as I’ve seen people build him and it’s really a shame that we never got an extension set/CMF
I completely disagree on hoopers store. I love it there
I just wish it was built at a different angle although then there would be accuracy issues
Let's Hope The Hooper Store Set (If there is one) Will Be released, then that open gap will be closed.
I think they should have walled it up but I think they didn’t because there planning on making more sets
@@roguebricks1691 I agree unless they make future sets.
@@TandNBricks I hope they do make expansion sets I love the set I got it for Christmas 🎄 it goes great In my new LEGO room
Oh my you need to have hooper’s store
Great Video. I think that Lego should tiled off the street.
Thats a good idea like a modular. Im gonna do that now that you brought that up when I get the set
Grover should have been included. I’m ok with the count as the bat form.
I agree but you never know, we could always get a follow up!
The top 5 characters for next set ranked most wanted to least wanted (1 is best 5 is worst but still loved!)
1. Grover
2. Abby
3. The count
4. Telly
5. Baby bear or Zoe (it’s hard to choose)
I would totally agree with the top three. I feel like they should have been in the official set.
@@TandNBricks what about Telly baby bear and Zoe 🥲 jk but seriously Telly is my favorite Sesame Street muppets
@@teaganthedashman nice! I would love it if we got snuffy
@@TandNBricks oh yea snuffy!!!
Everyone heard about Ji-Young in Sesame Street but who knows Kathleen? Meet this puppeteer changing Sesame Street:)
ruclips.net/video/BYNoqK9p2e4/видео.html
If you want the old one tho, it’s simple, but 2 and put 2 and 2 together, not the coolest but still.
Right, but there will be some other modifications like height and width if you want it to be a modular to fit with the city. Plus that is 240 dollars to do that. Unless you use extra bricks instead
I like the old one ,the official set l didn’t buy
Nice!
Lego can give customers choice ,they can ver1.0 or 2.0
@@luluchak2773 That is a good idea. LEGO decides to do it their way though for design reasons and because of different prices of products that they have to offer.
I dont like the set because the building is open and doesn't work displaying
Yea I dont think the extra building was necessary
T and N Bricks I had an idea, what if you remove it from the baseplate and rotate is 90 degrees would that look any good?
@@bossome3765 That might work. The serving area into the outdoor seating would be out of place unless you rotate that too. I suppose people can just take those plates out and make it just the apartment rectangle
@@TandNBricks wish they had stuck with the first original idea
@@SimoneOconnell yea a modular would have been nice
