David i want to add another Stream Deck to my arsenal but im having a hard to mapping button to the other deck- it appears the main profile works when both decks are plugged in - but im trying to allocate certain buttons to the other --- can you elaborate please thanks..

Hi Victor, thanks for letting me know about your interest for a 15-button Extreme version. I don’t have immediate plans for it - reason being is that the 32-button Extreme profile already takes up 60+ companion pages…to fit that within a 15-button deck would require a lot more page jumps. It would be an extensive re-design and a reduced user experience. Have you considered getting a 32-button Stream Deck? Or, if I did make a less comprehensive 15-button profile, what would be the most important functions to include?

Hi Saj, yes I believe the Extreme is basically compatible with 1ME. They will have all the same mapping, and just change the switcher model in the ATEM module. Let me know if there’s anything that doesn’t match up, but it should for the most part!
Hi I been watching your videos tutorials and it helped me to learn a lot about atem mini pro and stream deck. I have a question when I change my atem mini pro camera with stream deck using companion app the transition is hard cut it don’t have that effect of smooth transition. Can you help me with that. Thank you
Hi Pukar, in my layout in this video, there’s an Auto button (bottom row, second from the right) that will transition rather than cut
Hi your video been such a helpful tools for me. I am using atem mini extreme, with stream deck and companion app to switch my camera. Is there any way to make a smooth transition when I change the camera. Every time I use stream deck and companion the canes change as a hard cut. Any help or tips will be appreciated. Thank you
Hi Pukar, try using the iPad app Mix Effect to animate the keyframes for the Super Source boxes. Currently Companion cannot generate enough keyframes for a motion transition between shots.
David, Thank you for making this video. Would it be possible to setup and run the Stream Deck Desktop with the Bitfocus Companion without having the physical Stream Deck device?
Yes it is- there’s an Emulator within Companion so you can run a virtual Stream Deck on any web page in your network!

What is the command in Companion to control the Video Out on Atem Mini Extreme i.e those small buttons on the right of Atem Mini?

I use the video out from HDMI Out 1 to projector. I will press 4 to change the Projector to show what is played on laptop.
So i would like to program a button on Stream deck to control VIdeo 1 - Source 4.

In the button Actions section, search for “aux” in the ATEM module. You need the auxiliary output command

Hi Eric, using the VICREO module within companion, and the corresponding app installed on your Mac or PC, you can send keyboard hot key commands to the computer. My profile incorporates a Mac-specific command (benefit being it will execute the keyboard command even if the application such as Google Slides is mot at the forefront), but you can change the commands to work for a PC also.
Can you do a button for Hyperdeck playback as well? I want to be able to cue my clips and stop them but they keep playing into the next clip every time. Should I just change the source from VLC to Hyperdeck to get the right results?
Hi Tranise, I don’t own a hyper deck is the main reason I haven’t implemented it, but you could add the Hyperdeck module and then add the play command to this VLC button in the meantime.
Do the Atem Mini Pro profile have H2RG V2 updated ?
Not yet, though I plan on at some stage. There’s a check box in the module you can switch between versions.
Hi @David Joshua Ford please help me. I download your free pack for my ATEM Mini Extream ISO with intentions to test it on my system and see if it works before I buy it. I notice I need to have vicreo-listener_3.0 installed but I cannot find how to installed it on my Raspberrypi4. I search all the web in the last 4 days I cannot find any information how to install this application on raspberrypi 32bits. Can you help me please? I love your keys but I am almost giving up because its to much days searching a away to make it work. Thank you.
Hi John, I haven’t tried VICREO on a Pi; but you can install CompanionPi disk image on a Pi to run companion, and then VICREO on Win or Mac. What applications are you trying to run on the pi?
