If anyone is having issues getting bowfin, set your bobber length to 80 inches and drift right where he says in the video. Took me a long time to get one and took me over 10 minutes to get in. Drag is super important when fighting this fish so it doesn’t spool you. Keep the drag at max when the third bar for your reel strength isn’t fully at the red mark
maybe you should mention something about drag on the reel... I didnt know anything about that, and oh boy it did help me thighten the drag. Lol.... but great vids anyways thanks.
I felt sad just a little bit ago in this game I caught a trophy channel cat fish as my first catfish but it was too heavy for my keep net so I only got the xp from it I have to wait to at least level 15 to get a good net for that fish
It happens just remember XP is just as important as money if not more so, the faster you level the faster you can get bigger upgrades that matter and travel to locations that will earn you tons of money

Checkout the No Money spent series and you could use what I do at emerald and such. No need to worry about specific rods that early it's mostly about what you can afford and what you plan to farm!

Freshwater Drum and Bowfins are a pain, can always skip it and try again in the future the most important goal should be making money and leveling!

U cant switch rods while traveling. U can only use the rods u equipped before traveling. So choose wisely which rods u wanna go with to ur destination
