They never claim to be just a straight up metal band, they are a band who plays music. Yes they have borrowed a lot but they still add their own touch to what they borrowed. They are original, unique, and fun live. Why the hate? They get a lot of un necessary and um justified hate. They master their music in a clean, crisp,way, and they have a clear focus on production value over trying to be " brutal!!!!!" Or " heavy" or even just "metal" they want to be them and play music they enjoy. I love metal don't get me wrong but I don't like the cheesy and cliche fan culture of it.
