BNicoleJackson Niiiiiiice! 😁
Finally a plus size videos .u make crocheting easy thank y ou
Thanks Jackie...you are a great teacher. Great beach dress!
Hi I love the beach coverup
Thank you for this tutorial, very easy to follow. I was able to customize mine a bit with a bit of a border on the bottom, around the arms and on the neck.
I was so worried about not following a pattern, but this has given me to courage to be a little bit more creative and create things without a pattern
I love this, thank you so much. That's why I like creating/making things myself, you can make changes to fit you. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video :)
Thank you! I'm a plus size girl and needed something to take to Jamaica on an up ominv trip. This will be perfect!
I just found you, so glad I did. Your pattern is so easy to follow. I have been looking for a pattern like this to make for myself and friends. I like it because I can customize the pattern to fit all different sizes. Thank you so much.
Jackie, Thankyou so much for making all these videos they are gorgeous and i am the same aize as you so they fit perfectly. I hope you never stop making awesome clothes.🧚♀️🌸
Love it and I will continue, thank you :)
I have a question. When crocheting the back, do I start from the bottom and work up (sewing together at the shoulders), or do I do my first row into the row that ended the front? as in the neck chains would be my foundation chain?
I have the same question?
Mee too! That confuse me a little! Because is two panels but the neck looks like a crocheted around! 🤔🤔 Please Jackie help us out! I want to start this
Great video but I got confused how you finished off the neck area. Any suggestion to make the neck deeper or v-neck shape?. I love this so much I’m a new sub!
Jackie1113, I just came across your channel and I'm so glad I did " YOU " speak very clearly. Thank you for all you do!!! Looking forward to many, many more of your tutorials of crocheting plus you look amazing in that cover- up, love that color on you too......Absolutely stunning!!!
Joyce Rosson Well this comment just made my morning! 😊 Thank you so much for the compliments and glad you joined my youtube family. 🤗🤗🤗
I could't figure out how to connect the neck and shoulder with the chain stitch. I omitted that part. Love the pattern though.❤
Love this. Just need a holiday now so that I can wear it. Thank you x
This coverup is cute and easy to make. Just what I like! Thanks!
Cynthia Ross u
This is quite lovely. I can wear this out as well. Thanks for sharing 😘
Thank you for posting this! Looks easy and I hope to make one for me!
Janet Cinelli You're welcome and it really is easy. Stay tuned in for an easy spring time shrug coming up! 😆
I don't know if I can do it but I'm going to try to make this in five days!
I like your tutorial very much. Am just converting to UK terminology in my head! You explain things very clearly. I'm actually thinking I could do this 😊
Awww, thank u! I am in the process of recording a new one now. I hope I do a good job on this one too.
Thanks. Were the same size, so im just going to follow your tutorial....!
JoAnn Gladwin I would love to see ur finished project!
Great work Jackie for plus size
So you reverse the process on the back neck chain. Count over 4chain/trb crochet n the next 4 chains.
Moving on into the project piece it’s self. Continue with the regular pattern.
Jackie1113 This is Absolutely Gorgeous!! Love Love it!! and you look Amazing!! Thank you! looking forward to more of your tutorials!
Anita Whittico Awwwwww, thank u so much for the kind words. 😊
Thank you!! this is Awesome! just ran across your channel and I did subscribe!! looking out for more!
Anita Whittico Thank u....I have so many plus size items to make, but I'm struggling to find the best camera angle for me...ugh
I really enjoyed this video. I have been seeing this yawn but never tried it now I will try it. a gain good job.
Carolyn Eady Thank u so much! It is perfect for summer crochet.
Você faz trabalhos incríveis de crochê! Obrigada por compartilhar! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💋
Gorgeous! Do you plan on uploading other crochet tutorials? I love this and will be making it in orange. I like to knit too, but not that great at it!
Thank you! I am in the process of making a matching hat...lol! I love crocheting and loom knitting...I am not the best knitter. I hope you enjoy your cover up! :)
I love it. I think I will make this one. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for sharing this. I used to be a plus size but this will be a good one for my daughter and I cause when we go to the beach we can wear this. She's had hip replacement surgery on both hips and her right one a second time. So this will be perfect for her. God bless you.
Awwwww, I hope she's healing well. Thank you for watching. 😁
FABULOUS WORK I AM VERY IMPRESSED😻
I love this and will do it in turquoise. And I really enjoy your channel l am also no skinny Minnie and love that you show how to make the garment fit the size of your body. Most patterns are size small or medium. Larger women also like beautiful clothes thanks you
Thank you so much for the ki d words and I know yours will come out fabulously. 😊
I'm looking forward to trying this. I found an acrylic yarn that I love, and decided this was what I wanted to do with it. I know it won't be absorbent like cotton, but I'm going to give it a shot anyway!
Christian Warrior Academy It will be perfect 😊😊
Jackie1113 I love the way you explain how to customize it. You don't just interpret the pattern, you explain how it works. You're a great teacher!
Christian Warrior Academy I do it that way, because every plus size woman is shaped differently. My 3x could be ur 2x and vice versa. I want to make sure that we don't get hung up on the size of things and actually make it to fit our bodies. 😊😊 I hope that makes sense. 😀😀
Thank you for sharing. love your work
This is amazing crochet work. what is the count of the chain? Is it even numbers? Odd numbers
Lovely 😍
Can’t wait to make mine
Love this thank u for the idea love your videos ☺☺
FINALLY!!! Thank you soooo much!
sandra kellar LOL! You're welcome!
And this video is the second reason why I wanted to make my mother a beach coverup.
Great top, I have the same yarn and color. Have been wondering what to do with it. Now I know.
Grace Randall Perfect, you'll love it! 🤗🤗🤗
Can't wait to start this!

Diana221162 Thank you 😊
love it!!! mine soon come!
Thank ya kindly! We'll see!
Great tutorial 👏👏👏💙
Thanks for sharing this love it ❤
So this is like a poncho style cover up. !!!!
You should have explained after creating the neck; what procedure was required to finish up the back.
P.s. you do a wonderful job on camera :)
Love it
Lol!! its okay!! I will be watching!!
Love this!
rhii2d2 thank u 😁
I'm very interested in your pattern however I'm very confused at how you join at the neck area for the front and the back panel.. your video did not show how the neck area on the front and the back were done can you please explain better thank you I really would like to make one of these.. on the front piece it shows that you chained to 28 single crochet and then completed the rest of your pattern at the top but then what???? For the back panel??
Ok. Make two panels. How do I connect the neck?
You sew the two side panels together either with a yarn needle or slip stitch up the sides.
I don't get how to connect this. Please help me somebody 😊
Wow.....great work....Thanks :-)
Bianka Steidler Thank u!
Beautiful stitchwork! How do you determine where to place the markers for the neck of the cover-up?
Thank you...I neasuredzon myself snd decided where my neck would go.
Hi I'm sorry but how did you do the back of the cover up? I got lost. Thank you
Same as the front.
Hi Jackie! Will this fit someone who wears a size 28? Will be making this for a friend and she said she wears size 28 wants it to be calf to ankle length. ...thank you!!
Di Go Hey, you will need to start off with a longer chain, not too sure how many tho.
Jackie1113. ..ok thank you so much!!!
Will this be the same concept for a size 4xl? I have an order for a woman that size who wants this but with slits down the side.
Hi Jackie! I believe I should have added a little more to my starting chain to make it wider...maybe by 2 inches on each side. Do you have suggestions on what I could do when seaming it up to make it a little wider?
Hey Katie, you could crochet a couple rows of trebble crochet's as a boarder and then seam it up.
Jackie1113 good idea...thank you!
Hi Jackie, thanks so much, your demonstration is beautiful, however a shout out should go out to Bobwilson123 for this pattern as well!
Margie V Thank you and check the description box.
Jackie1 do u think in the future you can make a video on a nice warm sweater for winter ? I would love to make myself a sweater to wear around the house. Thank you so much for all your videos !!/ i just love them all, i feel like im right there with you sister :) sorry im native & i call everyone sis & bro.
Sherene Liscom You read my mind....I promise to get that out before the new year. LOL, I appreciate u 😁
Jackie1113 thank you so much !!!! You're amazing !!!! Can't wait :)
So I don't understand. You measured 54 in your hips to to make this and you added six more in that made it 60 in and then you cut that in half 30 in to start this pattern so my question is did you make another side that was Thirty in two and then you put them together? I need help to make this. I like it a lot just need a lil more clarity it's on making two sides what not. Thanks
I made two panels...60 is the total length around my hips, so I split that in half. Thirty for the front half of my hips and 30 for thw back half of my hips, which gives you a front and back panel.
Oh okay thank you so much for your response.
Do you have the written pattern?
The crochet just would’ve been nice but you don’t have enough room there to really let us see how you created the neck and etc.
👍👍👍👍❤️💜💛
guapa
Maria Lucha Gracias 😊
Haw mache chian
Nany Dalaam You have to measure around your hips to determine the amount of chains
That's it folks! The color yellow has officially been canceled. The privilege has been abused.
Erick Odom If only you could some how be canceled. 😅😅😅😅
