    Haha out of instinct I took the 650 in the beginning - maybe not a bad choice after all. Nils is also consistently doing 30+ knots now on it, so has big potential!

    Kasper -- how would you describe the difference between the the F4 foils you used to ride and the Patrik Aeon foils. Are they faster - easier to go fast on ? ...more controllable at high speed? easier to jibe ? any of your impressions from on the water experience would be fun to hear. Do you think Michele Becker's advice to ride one size smaller wing on Aeon foils only applies to PWA level riders and not "amatuers"?

    • @surferkaspert4679
      @surferkaspert4679  2 месяца назад +1

      @@fleetwoodmarine the F4 is a good foil, I had mine for 3 seasons. The F4 is easier to jibe, the patrik demands more commitment in the jibe but also gives you a higher exit speed. In a straight line the patrik is easier when you get used to it. Balance point is different when you compare the two foils. I think that Michelle Becker how mainly focuses on foil, can use the 450 and 550 as the two only wings. Also the good danish guys who don’t makes mistakes in the jibes doesn’t need bigger than 550. But a guy like me with limited time and who also do fin racing and wave sailing and have a family and a business to run, the 650 just makes life a bit easier as I make a lot of mistakes when I am foiling. That is why I also include the mistakes in the videos, so people get a chance to understand what my level is

    Hi , any chance on being more specific on “light” wind ? How many do you really need to get on the wing without perfect pomping technique you would think ?

    • @surferkaspert4679
      @surferkaspert4679  2 месяца назад +1

      @@galensk difficult to say without pumping as you need some speed to get the lift from the foil. My iq is more easy to get foiling but slower. If I get time I might bring the iq and test against the patrik.

    Hi Kasper!Did you buy the not so expensive construction on all the parts?

    • @surferkaspert4679
      @surferkaspert4679  2 месяца назад

      Only the fuse is the cheaper option. But looking back I would probably have gone with the cheaper mast. It is probably just as fast for me and then I would have money for other windsurf stuff 😎

      @@Karli717 It is my home spot at the sail club in Hjerting, but it is a tide place. And there are sandbanks so you have to go with a guide otherwise you get in trouble. Generally the eastcoust of Jutland is better for foiling but the west coast gets the best wind.

    I have a 660 F4 from last fall but on the 89 wide Tabou air plus and a 2019 8.8 vapor at 20 mph i dont have enough leverage to tip the board toward me. I ordered a wider board for use with the large sail, i dont know what else can be done to get more leverage on the board.
