The mad anchor was immune to everything because he is immune to 1 element and 1 property the property being either magic or physical, So make sure you either bering physical wind and magic fire (and no crossover) or he will potentially buff his defense to both your eleements if they are both magic or phsysical. IE bring only 1 typoe of element or he can debuff wind, and phsyical with his scan (which will screw you over if you brought physical fire and magic wind) still being resistant to both. [or vice versa) TLDR dont cross pollinate physical and magical fire and wind in your characters weapons/materia, ensure they are oppsites in properties as well.
1000% you can get S+, try a more magic focussed char instead of Glen if you are bothered about the extra rewards, also play around with the damage buffs/nerfs, I can’t remember my trance abilities but I know I ended up kneecapping myself and then changing attacks used for the back half of the dungeon
I did attempt it a few times but I was satisfied with my S. The extra 500 medals for an S+ didn't feel worth the tickets I was spending doing it anymore. I got everything worth while anyway. But thank you for the help!
@@Tsuna_II sure thing, I don’t think I helped too much anyway but you can return the favour by helping me with this new Waltz guy. I can get it down to just him with 50% left but his stick slaps dps check me
For Cawpine Caverns, i did not have any good magic attackers, so what i did was put my strongest magic/atk weps on my main dps wich is Barret and got my self s+ 😊
Hint, if your about to die, retire, you will get more points 😅, You should be able to do it with your team, my team had 142k power, max hp 5k on 1 character, and i had to use the grind able weapon for Aeirth wich gives Mdef up (medium) max (High) on every boss wich does single target Magic dmg, last boss managed to do his beam twice, got my Aeirth killed, but killed him with 2 abilities after that
