@@you-5-iver804but here you are AVOIDING your own responsibility as a PRIVILEGED member of society, which is prevalent in abusing its own children and exposing them to violence. I dont see you bleating about that. Instead you come here banging your drum about something that has little affect on you.
Look at police figures in domestic violence between hetero cis male/female relationships and how children have to endure this. It's far more prevalent. Yet here you are being sucked in to a machine that likes to brain wash the ones with low IQ. I guess you got sucked in too.

Tula went threw a lot, at the time it was the late 80s early 90s, even when they came for her she came back with grace & class, I was just transitioning at that time she was such a role mode for me & many of my trans friends ,Tula is a transsexual Icon & way before many of the others, way before it was "safe" & it is much easier to transition also she is all natural, her beauty is her beauty, I have the upmost respect for Caroline 'Tula" & all that she has done for our community

I was 5 years behind you and because of you being outed (even though that was horrible) I knew I there were others out there and I could live authentically starting as a teen.
Unfortunately I had to run away from home to do it but at least I knew I could. Love to you and your family Carolyn. Love Mardi

Hi Caroline! I was referred to as a "Bond girl" by a professor I was dating because of my varied interests in yoga, aikido, archery, modelling, and more. I found that description to be apt since you were one of my idols growing up. When he found out about my past (he snooped), he was taken aback and broke up with me, saying "I’ll get back to you at some point...but this takes processing. And I can only guess how difficult this has been for you so I am sorry I am not better equipped to handle it." This has happened many times over the course of my life so I just have to say that many American men are really small minded. Even the ones who say they are open-minded are really not. Thank you for this montage. It is beautiful!

As an FTM I would like to thank you for putting yourself on the line for the trans community. What a warm, loving family you have - I'm sure you know how lucky you are to have had such a lovely supportive (and attractive) Mum.. At the end of the 70's/early 80's both you and Stephen Whittle are largely responsible for me becoming aware that I could at last "be me". Over the next 10 years others came forward and started to tell their stories in the media -GREAT. Then in the mid-90's we started to hear about little kids (4/5/6 years of age) being able to tell their parents how they felt and since then there have been numerous TV programmes documenting this -GREAT. HOWEVER - suddenly we have this ANTI TRANS movement which has started to grow rapidly in just a few short years, i.e. TRANS WOMEN AREN'T WOMEN. Academics (one of which is a lesbian) and others are furthering their careers/boosting their bank balance by writing books SUPPORTING THIS MOVEMENT which only serves to whip up prejudice and hatred towards trans people - DESPICABLE. Even some Gays are starting to turn against us - mumblings of wanting the T removed from the LGBT acronym. So what has gone wrong? Here are my thoughts 1) creation/talk of gender fluidity, non-binary and all the other myriad gender labels which quite honestly for the life of me I can't fathom. The typical transgender person would have been aware from a very early age (perhaps as young as 3 or 4) that they are in the 'wrong' body - we would see it as 'binary', i.e. I have a girl's body but I am a boy or vice versa. 2) Well i think some Gays think they are home and dry - no longer afraid to come out - everyone knows someone who is gay - they can get married, have their own kids or adopt. 3) Apparently, suddenly an inordinate amount of young teenage girls are transitioning (they call it RAPID onset transgenderism) only to then 'de-transition' in just a few short years having realised they weren't transgender - one of those girls has just successfully sued the NHS here in the UK. I think for these girls maybe transgender is the new "anorexia/bulimia/self-harming", i.e. if I do this maybe I will feel better about myself (there are quite a lot of videos on RUclips posted by some of these girls). One older person, an FTM, called Debbie transitioned - she tells her story on RUclips -she had been sexually abused as a child and thought becoming a man would help - it didn't. This all begs the question "where does that leave the typical transgender person?" Due to the foregoing the 'true' transgenders are going through a terrible period of "backlash". What has transpired in very recent years has put the 'typical' transgender community' back YEARS in terms of acceptance. I fear for those 'typical' transgender people coming forward for reassignment in the future. They will probably have to go through very lengthy psychoanalysis/counselling - the NHS will ensure they are not likely to be sued again for 'misdiagnosis'. If people are made to wait an inordinate amount of time before being allowed to transition I wonder how many lives will be lost? We really need to combat this backlash to show that we are NOT going to allow our community to be lumped in with either the 'gender fluid' mob or 'the 'Rapid onset transgenderism of young teenage girls who so obviously are NOT transgender'. Exceptional video - wish it was longer. Carolyn/Tula: You are the REAL DEAL You've impressed me from the first time I saw you on (of all places) the "Jerry Springer Show". You’ve been blessed with inner and outer beauty that surpass that of most mortals. Few if any come close. You've put yourself out there to live your dream life. If you weren’t so exceptional your gender would NEVER have been questioned, but I can’t imagine you as anyone other than yourself.
Please be careful and don’t allow yourself to be used by others to support political agendas. You’ve already given more than enough. You will always be loved.

@@vford1000 My mind may be a bit trusty but my recollection is seeing "TULA" for the first time on one of Jerry Springer's early legitimate shows in the early 1990's. I was totally impressed with this beautiful bright woman who I always think of whenever transsexuals were discussed. I had recently moved to FL and watched TV on a 12 foot large satellite dish. Could I have seen a different show in another time zone? Sally Jessy Raphael was on either before of after Springer back then. If I am mistaken it will ruin my memory that Jerry Springer used to have a pretty good legitimate talk show. From that time forward, TULA became and remains the only transsexual women who is ALL WOMAN in my eyes. I missed the Donahue shows and other TULA appearances now on RUclips. I'm not much of a TV watcher and have always held strong opinions about pretense. I'm not into revues or show business and any movies past ones made in the 1980's I can see for the first time. Defining male and female behavior is part of socialization. People may be born biologically male. female or mixed, or other, but for some reason society defines what and who one is SUPPOSED to like and how they are SUPPOSED to behave according to their physical appearance. I feel bad for those who must undergo surgery to correct biological assignment mistakes, but for me, attraction and orientation are defined by who you want to kiss romantically. The gender of one's love object should not be dictated by society as humans cannot force their feelings. TULA has always been my example of the REAL DEAL - a rare individual who corrected a natural mistake and was able to make herself whole and intact. TULA would be just another human being with her own quirks if she wasn't blessed with such beauty, intelligence, and personality. She can't help but stand out wherever she goes. I've met few transgender individuals who've managed to brave society's condemnation and emerge as healthy intact humans. All have been recognizable as transgender to me. All show many physical and mental scars, all except TULA, who would be what I consider a normal straight woman even if she liked to fix cars, play in the mud, and drive a bulldozer for a living. That's why I was and remain so impressed by this woman. If my first introduction to TULA was not an early Jerry Springer Show as I recall, whose show was it when I was so impressed?

It's hard to be an individual. There are so many people who are full of fear and insecurity and they attack those with the courage to be themselves. But life is always a battle of some sort. And some of us are put here to raise questions and to unsettle widely held conceptions. Humanity is moved forward by individuals. Virtually all the great geniuses of history encountered great opposition to their ideas in their time. You have to be strong but you also need to rise above hate. So many people lead fearful, cowardly lives. That is a great punishment in itself.

With 34 years of marriage and a very special wife which we have been through hell ! I tried to transition back in 1984 , I was on two Estrogen pills , 1shot every 2 weeks for 1 year and then I met my wife an than I stop to be her husband ! What's it like being a part of cis-male dominant world that cheats and beats their women in front of their children? Domestic abuse between male-female partnerships is rife. All you have to do is look up the figures to realise just what a problem it is, yet here you are, under the video of someone that has no affect on you, and you're crying hysterically!
Instead of being a diq, focus on your own life. You're definitely the 'freak' here, triggered by someone else's life 😂😂😂
