Sun Valley, Idaho 8/2024

Part one of our family adventure through Utah, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming enjoying nature, wildlife, and each other:)
After landing in Salt Lake City, Utah, our adventure started at an awesome park while dad did some work! We then drove the 4 1/2 hours to Hailey, Idaho to rest after a long travel day. The next morning, after smelling the cow poop and remembering where we were haha, we gathered the essentials from Walmart and headed on the BEST adventure at Craters of the Moon National Monument. More driving took us to Sun Valley, Idaho where we unintentionally ended up at the most delicious fancy restaurant, The Covey, with special desserts on the house and all! Before bed we took an evening drive throughout the valley ending with a dip in the river and an elk herd sighting! Amazing! Sun Valley day two started with a random hike (no idea where??) and a run in with, by far, the most sheep we have ever seen. That afternoon we enjoyed a couple beers and ran on path to a bridge. Travel with kids is much less about destinations and more about eating and running around at various locations haha. And we love it!
