I subscribed to your channel, thank you so much. I am considering driving Class A CDL for either Shamrock Foods or US Foods here in Phoenix. Shamrock does a 5% 401K Match..... is US Foods 401K also a 5% match, or hopefully even a higher match like 6% or even 8% ? Shamrock has a Profit-sharing plan in addition to their 401 K. Does US Foods also have a profit sharing plan like Shamrock in addition to their 401K? Shamrock does not have a Pension. Does US Foods have a Pension ? What type of health insurance does US Foods have - Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna ?? How much do you pay per week for your health insurance? Do you have to pay anything for Dental Insurance, or does US Foods pay 100% for Dental Insurance ? Thank you so much, I have only watched this one video so far, but I will watch all of them shortly. If I do choose US Foods, I will be seeing you around here in Phoenix for sure !!

We have 401k match idk how hight it goes, idk about profit sharing, and pension. I pay like $30 for medical for me and my son every 2 weeks. Dental is leas then $10 every pay check. We have 2 employees from shamrock come over to US foods and they like it way better. I haven't heard great things about them but your welcome to do your own research.

After awhile they started giving me a day off during the week so that I would work on Saturdays, but even so I will end up with my 60 plus. If you are not making component, that's how you do it. The pay is $26 to $ 27 dollars and hour out here...If you want to make $27 an hour make sure you scan those boxes and have your percentage in the high 90's. also when you can't scan a box put in the number manually in the Zebra scan it will boost up your percentage. There is also a form that you can fill out when a sticker does not scan. Take the sticker (do not throw it away) and place it on that form and at the end of the day take to your supervisor or the warehouse supervisor and let them about the situation have them sign it and boom you will have a %100 percent on your scanning...

I’m not a fan of food service, BUT I tell everyone it’s one of the fastest ways to make money (if you don’t have years under your belt). With that said, your pay seems low for food service.
Most people I know that do food service (mostly Sysco) say it sucks but they have big checks like $2k or more a week before tax, but that they killed themselves for it and did 70 hours. I’m noticing that most of your checks are like 80-90 hours for 2 weeks, but you’re still only making like $1500 a week or so before tax.

I have to laugh again lol. How do you say hours don’t matter? Hours is how much time that YOU spent being a slave to a company. Would you like a $2k check for 100 hours of work? Sounds like you would. I wouldn’t.

Shit, today they gave me 1200 something cases with 20 stops, but 10 of the stops were at a county fair and were all pallet drops. Even tho they were pallet drops I did have to build the bulk of them after pulling them, but even with all that I was able to get 1 1/2 a head.
I didn’t have prior trucking experience and was fresh out of school when I started. They started me at 25.30, but now after 3 months they bumped me up to 28.13 a hour after I talked to my supervisor. From what the one other driver told me is that he only brings home 2200 ish every two weeks, but that is cause we get hammered on state taxes up here in Oregon.
