Technicals posted a video talking about the recent scandal involving tempestnyc and red and some others involved, this sparked a massive uproar amongst some socially unadjusted people to which technicals followed up on and today we are going to discuss that and the actions in the guilty gear community

The people threatening Technicals’ life over his video feels like the unfortunate circumstance where people’s sense of morality and perspective of the world were developed through their social feeds and RUclips videos about the world’s current events.
The video isn’t really offensive, some parts were a tad out of pocket but to want him dead over it just goes to show how out of touch the angry Twitter people are from normal human behaviour. It unfortunately feeds the fire of people shitting on Strive players like we see in the comments of the first video.

Technicals is just a journalist, without his video I wouldn't have known about the whole situation. And the reaction of the twitter community is really disappointing. My guy was just talking about stuff that already happened, it's not that deep. Oh and btw, most of the people threatening him / complaining didn't even watch the video. Ridiculous
There's no excuse for violent threats, but any degree of research into Technicals can very easily prove he's a bad faith actor. He actively platforms people like Zero, he refuses to acknowledge his own Brother's sketchy behaviour and is very openly antagonistic to victims of situations such as these. The real answer here is both parties here are in the wrong, and taking either of these sides as the wrong move, imo

Define GG comunity, i mean to me its the BOIS who i play ggst at least a week, not even pro players cuz that's just the FGC in general, what even is the "GG Comunity"? some weird ass mfs that are terminally on twitter? REAL players who discuss combo theory on socials or talk about game balance? Artist who enjoy drawing their favorite characters and making ships and their own head cannons? The modders and animation creators? Are these groups the comunity as a whole? cuz the only real interaction one should be making with this "Comunity" is for the love of the game, not any pedo/zoo or whatever that says "im part of X comunity or Y group"

Im gonna be honest, the bad thing about technicals, even if he is mostly hated in the community, its that he is attracting a bad audience. In the comments of his videos, i’ve been seeing people commenting bad things about the community as a whole, assuming things that are mostly… hurtful, to call it a way.
Technicals videos are well informed, adding humor makes it interesting (tho placing humor in a video about sexual assault its pretty delicate) and the only thing wrong in here is how this orientates the viewers to just straight up hate the community.
I cant deny you, the way i’ve seen people act with the death threats are SO damn stupid. Have your own opinion, dislike someone if you want, but for gods sake if they tell someone to… well, you know what, then they are really just making it worse and degradating the community even more and just making the people in the comments of technicals videos actually seem reasonable compared to that.
Strive changed my life for good, i dont want the community as a whole to go down cause of this, i just wanna enjoy, play, talk, go to locals and have a good time. Im too thankful to this game, but this specific part of the community makes the community as a whole look like a bunch of kids, and i dont want this. I just wanna enjoy with my friends.

I don't agree with some of his thoughts on the emotional affects of sexual assault, and in particular his skepticism for why one of the victims would originally downplayed their story significantly was largely a product of his lack of experience with the subject. However the things people seem to be complaining about are fine. He took a neutral and objective stance and laid out as much info as he could reasonably get his hands on.
He presented his opinion as a lawyer should, he took no sides and just explained things in the context of the law. To me, I thought his skepticism was warranted because I also didn't understand why someone who claimed to have been groped would continue to see that person and even willingly sleep with them.

Apologies if my memory of the content isn't the best, but if I recall correctly there was a part where somebody had said they had been touched in a certain place, but later they said it was a slightly different part of the body and that they were just putting it in lighter words. That to me seemed very understandable as somebody who's been a victim of sexual violence as it can be hard to say things as they are, but I understand how for someone without any experience it can seem like their story simply wasn't adding up

I agree that what's happening to Technicals and yourself is wrong, but I also think that describing those people that did it as autistic and schozophrenic just isn't right. I understand that the reason you said that was mainly for comedic effect and wasn't meant to be taken seriously, but even then, it just doesn't sit right with me that you said that. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Honestly, I disagree with Technicals' original video heavily, and I definitely think he shouldn't pry into people's personal lives. I understand the Tempest situation having coverage since that stuff was illegal, but talking about the personal lives of consenting adults is just kinda unusual. Btw death threats aren't cool.

you can definitely be critical of his character (i mean for one thing he only really involves himself in fgc drama and/or profits off them with youtube videos without contributing anything back) but that doesn't mean people should be throwing around death threats to the guy. for the most part, they can't attack the video, because it was well researched. so they're just going throwing a tantrum instead while technicals does nothing and stirs the pot even further. it's a huge disappointment on both side tbh
Funniest part is the video he made was relatively object and basically only stated facts and logical conclusions. Then other "human beings" decide to wish upon his death in great description, over logical conclusions? That is crazy to me, this feels like fascist Germany where you will get killed because you don't share the same opinion. I REALLY hope its the vocal minority.
Sure, it was just objective facts, but digging deep into the personal lives of consenting adults and posting it online then saying this is what the GGST community does kinda leaves a bad taste in people's mouths. There are two things that got Guilty Gear out of its niche state: 1. FighterZ being the game Arcsys made right before Strive, and 2. Bridget's existence as of Strive, the following controversy included.
While I myself am mostly an outsider, I wouldn't be surprised if GG's community was in a better condition pre-Strive. Same shit basically happened with FNAF's before Security Breach, I'd argue.
And before you start, I feel as if them being *non-binary* would've been a better ending, and feel like the Flawless Ending alone suggests such. Not conforming to their upbringing, not conforming to their sex. Bridget being Bridget. Otherwise, it looks like a FTM de-transition story of sorts, ironically.
And I'm curious as to why you people didn't catch wind of that. But sure, guess every disagreer's just automatically a transphobe, I guess.

The biggest problem with the Guilty Gear community is Leffen judging by Technical's complete and total Leffen obsession. Obleffsion? I stoped paying attention to Technicals opinions 3 Leff cry fest vids ago.
Leffen is only part of the problem, plus the Swedish cry-bully is easy money and content.
