First its an ALPHA gameplay, so there will tweaks when they optimize it.
And more importantly GAMEPLAY>GRAPHICS
I don't give a shit if they sacrifice 4k and glorious 120 FPS if in return we get big epic battles, with refined Nemesis system and combat.

Haru Yanto ummmm I'm a Sony fan, and we don't even have good graphic games xD it's only Horizon zero dawn that has both amazing graphics, gameplay and story. The we got games with meh graphics like yakuza 0, neir:automata, gravity rush and tales of basseria . To be honest, we know that we don't need good mind blown graphics to be a good game, just saying. Xbox fan boys are the usually the one about bragging about their new console, Scorpio and their 4k visual and how it's going to defeat Sony....so yeah

I did not get to play Shadow of Mordor, but the Nemesis system is truly a next-gen step in dynamic capability and immersion. I will undoubtedly pick up this game.

The problem with shadow of mordor is that it's just that, nemesis system. There's not much to do in that game. All revolves around the system. It lacks depth to me, which being an rpg shouldn't suffer from, even though the quality and the presentation of the game are very stellar.
I got the game for like $5. No excuse not to play it.

and don't forget that the 1st one was GOTY 2014 and on a scale of 1-10 would be atleast a 9.2...so this game is a 10/10 for me by the looks of this gameplay.

Yes thats what i was sayin in my head too. They should use the full potential of this gens console and something epic of a proportion should come out. I dont care if its rpg, shooter, action. As long as its scale is massive, im in.

This looks good. With Horizon Zero Dawn, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Red Dead Redemption 2 also coming out this is one of the best gaming years there has been in a long time.

I love how the game is literally like this. I was taking down a warchief and had a spy who betrayed him. I then got ambushed by two other captains and was about to be executed. Last second an assassin I had turned saved me, it was so cinematic and cool.
god looking back it's sad to see how fluffed this demo was compared to the actual game
I wish the fort sieges were a bit more cinematic in the actual game
If only... They didn't add too much stupid Microtransaction to this beautiful game, that would be great. :/

So much false advertisement in a video... the real fortress's conquests are nothing like that. You just stay in a couple control points for a minute.
I was really disappointed, because I went into the game expecting this.
6:52 & 7:17 This is what I specifically remembered about this demo. I've been trying to figure out how to get my spies to do this but it never happens.
Turns out it was just demo bullshit that never made it into the final game, along with 90% of everything else in this video...

That was a saviour moment. A version of that does happen, it's just not restricted to spies. It does look shinier here than it does in-game, but it's not like it was cut

Igotacha That is said during the gameplay "some hours into the game".
Igotacha it shows somewhere that Talion himself is level 52 and the fortress lvl 192 probably comes from the adding the levels of all of the captains/warlords/overlord in the fortress. Just a guess.
matt garvelink remember your own army has a level talion level doesn't matter from what I'm seeing your army has its own level

I like the new nemesis system, it's good they expanded that. Customized storyline for every player seems a bit like 'got to see it to believe it'. Alpha graphics looks quite dated but I'm pretty sure it'll kick up to the end shot quality (pre order bonus). Looks promising, interested to learn more...after ADROMEDA though!!

Well the gameplay is really really fun looking. But graphically its unimpressive. Its just as good as anything else really. Stuff still looks like plastic. How damn long are we gonna have to wait for the next graphical innovation?? Remember when we went from ps2 to ps3? Now THAT was like a whole new thing. Now ps4 differs from the ps3 only in better,more detailed textures and otherwise being the same damn thing. Im only using consoles to give you a clear view on development of graphics,cause they make a new console every ten years or so. Mgs4 and the last of us and uncharted games on ps3 look almost the same as they do on the ps4 with slight changes. Minor visual facelifts compared to the ps2 to ps3 upgrades. Why has the development of these things slowed down so badly? And ffs,where are the interactive smoke,flame and water effects? Im so sick of people running trough flames and smoke and water without it having any effect when we Know that this tech was available Years ago and still not used. Cmon developers,stop milking us wit these crappy gradual upgrades and give us something new! Currently i only see gameplay evolving and id love to see the picture on my screen to evolve too for a change. Were essentially still playing games that look like doom3,plastic crap with fake effects and higher resolution textures.

Im so fucking broke.....plus in my country we get these awesome games years after they release i just finished shadow of mordor in 2016.... it really bothers me... im just a freshman in highschool so its hard for me to get unique games like this. Im planning on spending my savings to buy a ps4 and hopefully get this game because my parents always tell me that i should "Try hard in school and get a job" just so i can buy a game and it annoys me. But im not gonna complain in a youtube comment section cuz its not gonna help with shit so yeah. (Excuse my english cuz english is not my first language)

Wish this system was used in something like Mafia. I'm not into LOTR and the first game lost my attention quickly. I don't think I got past the first or second chapter. Killing and fighting these forgettable Orcs just wasn't that fun to me.

Joao Machado that's what the game was supposed to be. It was supposed to just be about killing the uruks and getting to sauron. But it was repetive after awhile don't get me wrong. But it wasn't a bad game. With tweaking and more stuff to do the sequel could be amazing. Which they should off in this trailer, now there's dozens of fortresses you're going to be able to control and you actually interact with your uruks/your army and the nemesis system has been updated a lot as well. This game definitely has the potential to be amazing in my opinion.
It was a game with very much potential, great quality and presentation, but ended up lacking and feeling shallow and repetitive. I think if it was a true rpg, with the nemesis system as a bonus and not as the main thing, it would have potential to be one of the best games of the decade.

Kinda felt like it was scripted but that doesn't stop the fact it looking extremely epic I also can't wait for it to come out this year just makes me even more hype.

Mixed impressions. Don't look that great. Looks very systematic and painfully scripted. Not sure if it's going to work in the end. Also too much chaos and too much op abilities too often. I know this is high level scripted demo - so there's still hope the actual gameplay won't be easy, will be deeper and more flexible and unpredictable. But I really hope there's more to the game than just capturing fortress and fighting goofy orcs. Not entirely impressed - I liked the first game for a while. But the batman-clone system really DOES NOT WORK in a game with swords and so much blood and gore. Hitting someone with a sword a dozen times isn't the same as hitting them with fists, even if you ARE batman. When swordfighting - enemies don't really block or dodge - they just take those sword slashes into the face - it's jarring and distracting. Not very fun either. I hope the new game does these things betterr

What the actual fuck! When she said 'revolutionary Nemesis system', I actually sighed and thought 'it's not that revolutionary, the first game had it'. But whatever, I loved the first game, so let's go. Then she proceeds talking for 15 minutes straight about the One Ring, some Necromancer that betrayed us and now wants vengeance, fucking Dragons and whatnot. I NEED THIS GAME.

As a proper LOTR fanboy i really hope there will be wargs in this game. What also dissapoints me is the fact that the orcs are exactly like the previous game, no spearman or normal archers only crossbows.. no horses. I REALLY hope this game will be better then it's predecessor. But i will buy it anyway because yeah... It's Lotr and lotr is AWESOME Prefer the combat to be more witcher like as well. And to finish this off please give us a SHITLOAD of customization and not 3 swords, 3 daggers...
So does this new ring of power give any new abilities? They said in the demo something about dominating an orc using the ring, but you could do that in the last game without the ring, so why does talion need it?

Oh.My.God. This video is pure awesome. This game looks like the ultimate fantasy war game, with everything from the first game coming back and just tons of new conquest added to it. It looks so good! Holy shit!!!!
