As of the day I'm writing this comment, Stevie's Wonders is now my most viewed video ever (beating out a really terrible Undertale shitpost I made when I was 14). I really appreciate everyone who's watched/liked/commented. uhhhh shit should i type more here. i gotta make it look like this comment is super important and stuff. okay, please reply to this comment with your favorite number. mine is 666, which i've just realized is actually something jacob says in the video. that's a problem because the joke with this comment is that i ran out of relevant things to say (which i promise does have a grain of truth to it) but i guess that connection sorta ruins it. i just didn't think too hard about what my favorite number was before writing that sentence. however, i still like the idea of soliciting random information from people so let me think of something else real quick. i would ask about pets but that kinda thing is a common "i forgot my password"-type question and the last thing i need is people calling me an identity thief in the comments of a youtube poop. how about just reply with your least favorite number instead. if anyone says a really cool number, i'll just assume they didn't read the full comment (a reasonable thing to do). personally i think ten is overrated.
You all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know a way to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot my login password. I love any help you can give me
This is the most specifically niche YTP I have ever come across. It's for those of us who over the last couple years have gotten into Jacob Collier and Adam Neely's stuff, and for us only. Needless to say, it's superb.
Sir DooDoo is one of Stevie's most iconic wonders. It's an ode to Jack Skellington, and in 1977, it was a number 77 hit. (megalovania ensues) Hi. My name is Stevie Wonder. I'm Stevie Wonder's greatest fan, and I'm here to explain the D. (Oh Yeah). Sir, this is an Arby's. So let's take a look at the SoS There's a verse, a chorus, a chorus, and a special chorus which I'm very excited to get into. But before we do all that, let's talk about the drums. One of the intriguing things about this particular song is Stevie's use of a very simple pop structure. (Jacob plays the drums) Listen to Duke Ellington's "Take the Jazz High" His experience with Weed really shines through. (Take the A Train & Smoke Weed Everyday mix together) You know, like like 4-20. I recently was on tour with my band SuSGazer and I was able to hit the weed night after night after night after night after night. That's a fair amount of stuff that's going on in order for us to understand why Let's get into it. The basic idea revolves around the basics to showing up stoned on a weed brownie. This is, of course, very common in breakdown sections. In the example that we're talking about, the first four note attacks, the ones which are hitting every 5 quarter notes, are metrically modulated to become 6 420th notes. Believe it or not, though, this is even before the weed brownie got involved. This chorus leads us right into Boris and it's here that we should probably talk about harmony. There's only really one chord in this entire section. 6-6-6 What he's done is take this very basic melody (Jacob plays Phrygian All-Star) and sexualize it in a way that feels really cool. (Sir Duke plays but it's very wrong) Now that is very good. That jazziness has entered the fray. The thing about Sir Duke's chorus is that it's not jazz, it's shit. Cultures around the world have developed their own unique musical scales that all sound 11 years old. But there's one scale that's found in nearly every scale across the globe - The Scale. If we begin to make melodies, using The Scale, it's extRemeLy diFFiCulT to Go wRonG becAuSe eVErY nOte iN tHiS sCaLe SOUnDs gREaT. Kinda like a scale. So Sir DooDoo goes something like this (plays B 20 times) Every note in that melody comes from one interesting, juicy note. This is the note. B. Those jazzists amongst you may recognize this scale as what's known as the One Fucking Note scale. But it's not quite good. And what you end up with is not listenable. And that is something that thrills me to no end.
