Fiji Zip Lining Experience | Unexpected does happen…

During our recent holidays in Fiji, we tried out the Fiji Zip lining experience. It sounds fun, but what to expect in this adrenaline activity? In this video, I am going to take you to Zip Fiji Nadi and show you our zip lining experience.
If you are travelling Fiji, zip lining is a must experience activity. We booked the activity online from their website zipfiji.com, and it cost $245 Fijian dollars per person. It’s a half day zip lining experience. The tour company picked us up from our hotel Marriott Fiji Momi Bay in the morning around 8am, and it took half an hour to reach Zip Fiji Nadi.
The activity includes 16 zip lines. After the how to and safety briefing, we headed up to the hill. There are 3 instructors, two of them will fly down first to the other side. After a couple of zip lines, we all felt a bit more confident and comfortable to do it. But the climbing up the stairs will cost you energy, as the highest point is 480 meters above the sea level.
The one on the top of the mountain is Zip line number 4, which was very long one, and I did not control it well, and it started spinning around and I was in panic mode and braked a bit too early - I was stopped half way hanging in the air. The instructor yelled out and told me what to do, and basically I need to climb by hand - by one hand, as I was holding the go-pro camera on the other hand. It quite dangerous, but eventually I got to the other side.
Overall, it was very good experience. The adrenalin rush, the spectacular views, the fun experience, and the friendly staff, at the end, it’s all worth it. I will highly recommend it.
