In theory this sounds good but in reality, speaking for someone who wants a relationship..your whole world suddenly begins to have meaning and purpose when you find the right one..if you are "happy" being single then you'll never be happy in a relationship..the only way one can be happy alone is if they're most comfortable focusing on themselves, and that's not gonna cut it in a relationship where it's not as all about you

As a single never married 34-year-old guy I am super blessed. I'm happy with what the good Lord gave me I have everything ever dreamed of radio station speakers radios electronics money in the bank financial stable. I have learned by watching married people over the years if you are not happy with yourself what in the world makes you think another person is going to make you happy making you feel complete?
I was married from the age of 40 to 50. The last couple of years were absolutely horrible. My ex cheated on me & we split. The first week or so was tough. After that, the dark cloud slowly lifted & I loved my new life. I have it all now, peace, quiet & freedom. I saved so much money after the split, that I was able to retire at the age of 54. I've kept myself in excellent condition with weights & cardio. Over the years, I've had a few single mothers come after me, but I turned them all down. They see my lifestyle & they want in on it. There's no way I'm going to be anyone's retirement package. Stay single, fellas.

Seriously, being single is a gift. Once you truly developed a genuine connection with yourself, you won't find it boring or lonely. If you have a career that you love especially if it's something that demands a lot of your time, it's better to stay single. Getting married and having kids is a huge responsibility (not only financially but EMOTIONALLY, PHYSICALLY, AND MENTALLY). As a person who loves solitude and peace most of the time, I can stay up late at night working on things that I love but I can't imagine myself being a homemaker for the rest of my life and just taking care of the kids the whole day. There's nothing wrong with being a MOM and a CAREER WOMAN but at some point, you'll have to juggle and compromise in order to perform well in both areas. Kids are amazing and I love being around them but I don't want to fail in the aspect of motherhood if my career matters most to me. Again, everyone has a different opinion towards relationships, this is just my personal choice. I do not get jealous seeing newlywed couples or people who have just started a family. Waste of money - I ditched that, and I've been happily content as a mgtow since then. Women come and go, but I do what I want, when I want, with whomever I want.
Being single is a mighty freedom! So many people the minute they hit puberty it's like they have to go out and be with someone, and yes, that's mostly hormones driving that in your early tween to teen years; nothing wrong with that because it's part of process. But I believe if younger people would just learn to have casual sort of relationships and just joy and embrace being single - all the drama that comes with life will be a little bit less because you can really focus on your dreams, goals, do the work that you have to do and when you get all that together, you can open yourself up freely and have a very healthy exciting relationship and you won't be dependent on anybody else. So always embrace being single because it truly is a mighty freedom and gift to have.
With all the BS I see my friends and family go thru in relationships, Im good on that! I have so much freedom to focus on my music career, write new music, workout whenever I want, and plan the future that I want, not what a girlfriend or wife wants me to compromise on. I can live in a cabin in the middle of nowhere fishing, hunting, and growing my own produce in a greehouse, and not feel pressured by a loved one to go spend all my money and time to go live in a stuffy suburb.
I was always focused on being in a couple. I got a buddy, who sort of lightweight poked fun at me for being "single" (no girlfriend, or fling, for that matter); but, I realized it came from a true place of deep-rooted jealousy, as he very well knows and understand that attachments bring a lot of headaches -- he's fighting with his girl, venting to me their relationship problems and "really really" done with each other every two weeks, like clockwork. all of my stresses and problems stem from me. I find it on the boring times, at moments (of course), and a worthy mate would be wonderful -- but, until then. I'm at peace, with my peace -- and refuse to try to externalize my happy via someone else, who I know in my heart of hearts, isn't the one. no time wasting here.

People think I'm crazy, as I am a good conversationalist, get along with people, and I'm reasonably attractive for my age now. I just want to be single. I could not get the things done, like learning a new piece on the piano, or just do nothing, if I had someone else in the picture.
Never been in a relationship thank God. It looks complicated. I just want to come home from work and do whatever I want without kids or a women being mad about something. I'm just free from it all. I can decorate how I want spend money how I want and can go wherever I want. I can talk to who ever I want, I can eat whatever I want and not avoid foods people are allergic to. I got a big bed to myself and can sleep how I want to sideways backwards or arms spread out without a women getting mad. Ah it's paradise when its your own rules and no restrictions. I'm free to not please anyone and can clean when I want to also I don't even have to worry about anything being moved or stolen or touched. Everything stays in its place because I'm single. No crying babies, no taking them to school becoming indoctrinated, no cooking big meals, no waking up early to drive them to school. No having to be on them all the time even when they don't want to wake up. Psh escaping responsibility more like escaping burdens. I don't have to grocery shop a lot either I only have 1 mouth to feed unless it's the holidays of course. No messy house when I'm home, No kid inviting friends trashing the house and making a big dish load or making it a rebellious house and doing drugs or whatever when im on a vk and not having to deal with their relationships either if they get abusive since we live in a corrupt system with bad influences these days. No I don't like to do much at all so relationships are just not my thing. I don't even like to socialize much at all. I like being alone and study, or play games and do whatever on my spare time like church since its the bitter truth we all have to deal with and there's no getting around it. I normally don't have time for a women and don't want to always participate in the world 24/7 🙃. I mostly want to escape reality. Shoot its already hard enough to follow christ, but then add another relationship on top of that it's just a nightmare. I get the people want to have sex too but I bet that gets old later on and then the burden happens. Plus I can flirt with a women and look at them and compliment them without a women getting mad or jealous. Some women wanted to be with me, but I would always reject them because it's not gonna workout it's like a 10% chance to keep a relationship and is actually enjoyable in my eyes. In 1995 I dated a girl named Sarah Jones in high school. After the school year we went to different schools. I gave up on dating, marrying, and having kids. I have a good job, a nice house, have a new documentary in the works, planning on becoming the next drummer, banjo player, and worship leader for my church, a play by play announcer, martial artist, etc. I am also carrying on the legacy of Jim Henson. I am working on a show called,``Jim Henson's Animal Series.'' It began production in 2020 and each episode chronicles a certain animal. Jim Henson's Creature Shop makes the animatronic animals for the series. In martial arts the goal for me is to get a black belt in karate and taekwondo. I have a yellow belt right now. The plan is for me to be on the Worship team at my church in the fall. Also new storybooks are in the works as well. I am also a game show fan. I grew up watching Bob Eubanks, Bill Cullen, Gene Rayburn, Peter Marshall, Jack Barry, Wink Martindale, Tom Kennedy, Jack Narz, Jim Lange, and others.

Being single I think is more freeing and good. I just came from a very toxic relationship. A man who contantly gaslights me and gives reasons for cheating is not something to be missed. He was an insecure guy who would want to check up on me 24/7 and doesnt want me to travel by myself or my friends. He read all my emails and stalk all my male friends on fb. He threatened to send them messages if they didnt stop reacting to my posts. When we fought, he would tell his momma and make me look bad. (such a crybaby). This is a 25 year old man. Everytime. He would cry and I felt bad. But then I realize that he would do that to get what he wanted. He was sexist and keeps saying that men is “more superior than women”. Every day I just became more and more turned off by this man. He is overweight and would judge me if I indulged on a steak or eat a little too much saying I should retain my figure. When you are single, you want to be in a relationship. But when you are, you do want to be alone. So, I will. 😂 Or better yet, do not date a toxic, insecure man baby.

What I mean is that I was born in a conservative society that believes in what was present in the Victorian era, or Arab societies today do not allow any contact between the sexes except for necessity and for reasons of life. The word love is still considered a crime in a good society. I have never entered into romantic relationships since my birth until now at the age of 33. I tried to walk with society and got engaged 3 times, but after a week or two I ended it for two reasons Each side plays tricks and deceit and hypocrisy/and reason the other in an involuntary way my brain analyzes everything and predicts full scenarios about my life with that person even if he chooses one of these stories I know what the end of our lives will be I even stopped trying and had enough of a single life

Being single is awesome in my opinion. it's actually less stressful, more money saved, more time for family and friends, more time for hobbies, more time to relax after a hard day at work, have only got to worry about yourself and diet etc. I prefer fictional characters then relationships as weird as that is. Because they don't hurt me since they are not real and give joy when I have nothing to do. But people can decide what they want in life so who am I to judge?
The first few months are usually fun but after that it becomes kind of boring, in my experience, unless you find a partner who doubly functions as a friend. I also despise the current social trends of a lot of women in my area. My reptile brain is superimposed by a conscious desire to feel some corny love BS, so it's like a struggle to use my rational mind to realize it's really just oxytocin spikes and sex, the rest is basically a lead up and an illusion but I can't convince myself of that reality, only be aware of it. I'm sharing this for the benefit of someone who feels isolated because this attitude is frowned upon or to show others that looking at it biologically kinda makes it pretty predictable after a few good ones

Getting married and having kids is a huge responsibility (not only financially but EMOTIONALLY, PHYSICALLY, AND MENTALLY).
As a person who loves solitude and peace most of the time, I can stay up late at night working on things that I love but I can't imagine myself being a homemaker for the rest of my life and just taking care of the kids the whole day.
There's nothing wrong with being a MOM and a CAREER WOMAN but at some point, you'll have to juggle and compromise in order to perform well in both areas.
Kids are amazing and I love being around them but I don't want to fail in the aspect of motherhood if my career matters most to me. Again, everyone has a different opinion towards relationships, this is just my personal choice.
I do not get jealous seeing newlywed couples or people who have just started a family. I feel happy and content with my family and dogs. :)

I’m 56 and have only been in 1 relationship and learned that I didn’t need the lies, drama and disease and having to give up yourself to be someone else. Through living by myself I’ve learned that I absolutely love my own company.

I unfortunately saw a (female) therapist after I got divorced 15 years ago. It seemed like her whole effort was geared toward getting me into my next marriage. Waste of money - I ditched that, and I've been happily content as a mgtow since then. Women come and go, but I do what I want, when I want, with whomever I want.

Being single is a mighty freedom! So many people the minute they hit puberty it's like they have to go out and be with someone, and yes, that's mostly hormones driving that in your early tween to teen years; nothing wrong with that because it's part of process. But I believe if younger people would just learn to have casual sort of relationships and just joy and embrace being single - all the drama that comes with life will be a little bit less because you can really focus on your dreams, goals, do the work that you have to do and when you get all that together, you can open yourself up freely and have a very healthy exciting relationship and you won't be dependent on anybody else.
So always embrace being single because it truly is a mighty freedom and gift to have.

With all the BS I see my friends and family go thru in relationships, Im good on that! I have so much freedom to focus on my music career, write new music, workout whenever I want, and plan the future that I want, not what a girlfriend or wife wants me to compromise on. I can live in a cabin in the middle of nowhere fishing, hunting, and growing my own produce in a greehouse, and not feel pressured by a loved one to go spend all my money and time to go live in a stuffy suburb.

I was always focused on being in a couple. When I chose my partner wrong, and I didn't want to leave the relationship for fear of being alone, I promised myself that I would never have that fear again.
I really enjoy spending time with friends, managing my money, not having to look pretty all the time, not worrying about being cheated on, not having to forcefully get along with people just because your partner likes them

I got a buddy, who sort of lightweight poked fun at me for being "single" (no girlfriend, or fling, for that matter); but, I realized it came from a true place of deep-rooted jealousy, as he very well knows and understand that attachments bring a lot of headaches -- he's fighting with his girl, venting to me their relationship problems and "really really" done with each other every two weeks, like clockwork. all of my stresses and problems stem from me. I find it on the boring times, at moments (of course), and a worthy mate would be wonderful -- but, until then. I'm at peace, with my peace -- and refuse to try to externalize my happy via someone else, who I know in my heart of hearts, isn't the one. no time wasting here.

I think the contentment is not just in being single, but realizing that you are happy being single. I dreamed as a little boy of three, that I would grow up, get a job, retire, and be single. People think I'm crazy, as I am a good conversationalist, get along with people, and I'm reasonably attractive for my age now. I just want to be single. I could not get the things done, like learning a new piece on the piano, or just do nothing, if I had someone else in the picture.
Never been in a relationship thank God. It looks complicated. I just want to come home from work and do whatever I want without kids or a women being mad about something. I'm just free from it all. I can decorate how I want spend money how I want and can go wherever I want. I can talk to who ever I want, I can eat whatever I want and not avoid foods people are allergic to. I got a big bed to myself and can sleep how I want to sideways backwards or arms spread out without a women getting mad. Ah it's paradise when its your own rules and no restrictions. I'm free to not please anyone and can clean when I want to also I don't even have to worry about anything being moved or stolen or touched. Everything stays in its place because I'm single. No crying babies, no taking them to school becoming indoctrinated, no cooking big meals, no waking up early to drive them to school. No having to be on them all the time even when they don't want to wake up. Psh escaping responsibility more like escaping burdens. I don't have to grocery shop a lot either I only have 1 mouth to feed unless it's the holidays of course. No messy house when I'm home, No kid inviting friends trashing the house and making a big dish load or making it a rebellious house and doing drugs or whatever when im on a vk and not having to deal with their relationships either if they get abusive since we live in a corrupt system with bad influences these days. No I don't like to do much at all so relationships are just not my thing. I don't even like to socialize much at all. I like being alone and study, or play games and do whatever on my spare time like church since its the bitter truth we all have to deal with and there's no getting around it. I normally don't have time for a women and don't want to always participate in the world 24/7 🙃. I mostly want to escape reality.
Shoot its already hard enough to follow christ, but then add another relationship on top of that it's just a nightmare. I get the people want to have sex too but I bet that gets old later on and then the burden happens. Plus I can flirt with a women and look at them and compliment them without a women getting mad or jealous. Some women wanted to be with me, but I would always reject them because it's not gonna workout it's like a 10% chance to keep a relationship and is actually enjoyable in my eyes. Honost it's better to not marry or be in a commitment with someone because too many troubles can arise.

In 1995 I dated a girl named Sarah Jones in high school. After the school year we went to different schools. I gave up on dating, marrying, and having kids. I have a good job, a nice house, have a new documentary in the works, planning on becoming the next drummer, banjo player, and worship leader for my church, a play by play announcer, martial artist, etc. I am also carrying on the legacy of Jim Henson. I am working on a show called,``Jim Henson's Animal Series.'' It began production in 2020 and each episode chronicles a certain animal. Jim Henson's Creature Shop makes the animatronic animals for the series. In martial arts the goal for me is to get a black belt in karate and taekwondo. I have a yellow belt right now. The plan is for me to be on the Worship team at my church in the fall. Also new storybooks are in the works as well. I am also a game show fan. I grew up watching Bob Eubanks, Bill Cullen, Gene Rayburn, Peter Marshall, Jack Barry, Wink Martindale, Tom Kennedy, Jack Narz, Jim Lange, and others.
It's just great.. we pity the others :)

I've been in relationship after another for 30 year. I've been single for 4 years. Happiest I've ever been. I've had girls who want to start a relationship with me. If Im happy what am I trying to do? Be happier than happy? Not doing it.. I can't say I won't get into another relationship..but it's got to be better than where I'm at now. Being single I think is more freeing and good. I just came from a very toxic relationship. A man who contantly gaslights me and gives reasons for cheating is not something to be missed.
He was an insecure guy who would want to check up on me 24/7 and doesnt want me to travel by myself or my friends. He read all my emails and stalk all my male friends on fb. He threatened to send them messages if they didnt stop reacting to my posts.
When we fought, he would tell his momma and make me look bad. (such a crybaby). This is a 25 year old man. Everytime. He would cry and I felt bad. But then I realize that he would do that to get what he wanted.
He was sexist and keeps saying that men is “more superior than women”. Every day I just became more and more turned off by this man.
He is overweight and would judge me if I indulged on a steak or eat a little too much saying I should retain my figure.
When you are single, you want to be in a relationship. But when you are, you do want to be alone. So, I will. 😂

What I mean is that I was born in a conservative society that believes in what was present in the Victorian era, or Arab societies today do not allow any contact between the sexes except for necessity and for reasons of life. The word love is still considered a crime in a good society. I have never entered into romantic relationships since my birth until now at the age of 33. I tried to walk with society and got engaged 3 times, but after a week or two I ended it for two reasons Each side plays tricks and deceit and hypocrisy/and reason the other in an involuntary way my brain analyzes everything and predicts full scenarios about my life with that person even if he chooses one of these stories I know what the end of our lives will be I even stopped trying and had enough of a single life

It's better to be single than living in a relationship. Being single you get to do whatever you want to do and spend the money on yourself. There is no argument, jealously, fight, someone controlling you, and it's to much when you fall into relationships. You get to live a good life with no worries and stress free from all the things that was taking you for granted.

Being single is awesome in my opinion. it's actually less stressful, more money saved, more time for family and friends, more time for hobbies, more time to relax after a hard day at work, have only got to worry about yourself and diet etc. I prefer fictional characters then relationships as weird as that is. Because they don't hurt me since they are not real and give joy when I have nothing to do. But people can decide what they want in life so who am I to judge?

The first few months are usually fun but after that it becomes kind of boring, in my experience, unless you find a partner who doubly functions as a friend. I also despise the current social trends of a lot of women in my area. My reptile brain is superimposed by a conscious desire to feel some corny love BS, so it's like a struggle to use my rational mind to realize it's really just oxytocin spikes and sex, the rest is basically a lead up and an illusion but I can't convince myself of that reality, only be aware of it. I'm sharing this for the benefit of someone who feels isolated because this attitude is frowned upon or to show others that looking at it biologically kinda makes it pretty predictable after a few good ones
