Pretty good range for both really. My Mini 2 can fly a little further than my Mini 3 does but at those kinds of ranges I would be happy with either. Thanks for sharing.

In the previous video I mentioned (I don't know if you read it) that for me the main problem with the Mini 3 Pro was the new control (I keep thinking about it) because it's not very polished and it's still very new (in my opinion they released it too quickly, without the necessary tests, maybe it will be corrected with new firmwares). With this test (the 2 drones with the rc-n1), I think that the problem may also be the antennas of the Mini 3 Pro of the control (not having any outward extension) with which the signal could degrade (and I repeat, for being a new control, almost an experiment).Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina!
Yeah, Mini 3 Pro seems to struggle significantly with the range. I mean, 4KM it's an excellent range but if we talking about O3, of course, we thought it will be better than the OcuSync 2. However, there are a lot of videos on the internet showing us the range of the DJI Mini 3. Using the new DJI RC or the RC N1, we already see it all. The results are almost the same which is I would say just average. I'm not an expert tho, but what I know is that whatever drones are equipped with the new O3, they (DJI) basically will put 4 antennas on the drones and I'm sure they put them at the most strategic location to ensure very best connectivity between the drone and the controller no matter which side of the drone facing the controller. And yes, in almost all the videos I noticed the Mini 3 Pro really struggles to maintain good transmission when the drone faces the controller. That's really weird. The Mini 2 OcuSync 2 with just 2 antennas on the drone which are located on both front arms seems much more effective and more reliable in terms of signal transmission. I really hope this particular issue can be fixed by the firmware. If not, I'm not surprised if we have the new 'DJI Mini 3s Pro' shortly. BTW, thanks so much for the videos, buddy. U did a brilliant job showing us a comparison between both drones and the results can't be denied. Very good videos. 😎✌

This video between mini 2 and mini 3 was shortly after mini 3 release weeks after that an update fix the mini 3 pro signal problem. The mini 3 pro is great

Instead of the radio waves being propagated towards the controller, they are dispersed above and below the aircraft. This makes all the difference.

I think that mini 2 won the test, but both gone really far and you will never need to fly 4 km away. I also got mini 2 and the further I have reach is 2.5 km because it depends where are you. If you are in a city you will reach 1.5 to 2 km, if you are in the countryside you may reach 4 km.
Many people made comparison and mini 2 wins. I was having mini 2 and across 5km with no problem. Now I have mini 3, I will see if can do same, more or less
Don't worry all the problems will be solved with DJI mini 3s pro.........But first your gonna need the mavic Air 3 when it comes out and then your going to really need the next one 🤣
DJI crammed so much technology into the mini 3 that something had to go to keep the weight down and it looks like the it's the antennas? But DJI should not be allowed to advertise these drones as being capable of the distances they claim when clearly they are not!

In my country this is not relevant because of law. I'm only allowed to fly the drone as far as I still can see it. Therefore it is no criteria for me how far the drone can fly as long as it can fly some hundred meters without problems. My motivation to buy a drone is picture quality and how smooth it can fly to produce cinematic footage. Also tracking abilities. That's it for me.

For me this video is very important too! This video give me the confidence to fly with pace in my mind! You make me feel solid only in 1000m and take all the pictures I want. Those amazing long rang, that you do, are so important for everybody who use a drone.👍🏻

I use mi mini 2 for vigilance a terrain located at 3 kms of my farm in a county zone and its Amazing and reliable . I dont need more.
