My mother passed away in April this year. Deep in my grief this song was recommended to me while I was looking through old photos of her. It's like a feeling of replaying all the precious memories you have with someone who was so close to you. So bittersweet, you have all these memories you shared and cherished but realize you can never speak or see them again. This song perfectly encapsulated that for me. I miss her every day. Love you mom.
The description says, ‘this is what sadness sounds like,’ but to me, it’s more bittersweet than sad. It sounds like joy and happiness, but with sad undertones. Like letting go of a good friend because you are both going down different paths, but you know it’s for the best because both of you will be happy. Or like losing someone dear to you, only to feel there presence years later when you are going back through their things. Maybe even breaking up with your soul mate, because it’s for the best, only to see them years later. Though this time, neither of you love each other like you used to, but you feel the love that used to be there. Or an elderly person who has lived a long and fulfilling life who knows they are about to die, happy but sad to be leaving all their loved ones behind. Or maybe it’s just me lmao.
I agree, it's definitely not pure sadness. More like a mix of happy and sad. Bittersweet was the perfect word for it, and the example of losing someone special to you, and years later going through their things and remembering them was a perfect example.
This is so beautiful and confusing in one it’s like questioning yourself about everything you think and see it’s like being in a state of pure fear and panic
Так выглядит жизнь человека, выводы. Так выглядит наверное любовь, когда грустно и весело одновременно и ты во всем ищешь её, ее походку, улыбку, шаги, дыхание. Я бы назвал этот шедевр "Дыхание Любимой"
Tudo tão triste, qt dor nessas faces. O palhaço chorando, tentando arrancar sorriso, só que não havia por onde. Chorei com tanta expressão de sentimentos doloridos.
@@peakingmantis5331 Oh word? Joe Hisaishi? I've only heard "Merry Go Round of Life" by him and it honestly sounds really nice. Alright, thanks for that
For other people, including me, the energetic nature of this song expresses strong sadness and pain. Not all upbeat and energetic sounds are equal to happiness, at least for us.
shits beautiful 🙏
we love an artist being fan of their own art

I got teary-eyed reading this comment while listening to this music in the background
This is so accurate. Happiness with sad undertones. Beautifully put.

"This is what sadness sounds like" no, its deeper than that. i think this is what *conclusions* sound like
It sounds like life
This song is about someone's feeling. You can almost feel their pain.😢
Thing I like about this video it has clips for multiple legendary movies 🍿
Some People’s perceptions of what this song means to them is what it is-leave them alone. It really sounds like sadness to me.

I would also look up a pianist names Jim Chappell. Thank me later!!!

Why does the description say “this is what sadness sounds like”? Because to me if not for the movie clips I would think it’s a happy uplifting song.
