When it's your job to listen to music all day it can get tiring and monotonous. At the end of a long day this is refreshing and energizing. Quality vocals, performance, music production, video production and very clever marketing. Sigrid is a genuine talent that commands and deserves more attention and success. Superb.
I have to say, being an audio engineer and have hundreds of mixes under my belt, this song is beautifully crafted. the timing of the delays, the "sweetening" of her voice just before she hits the chorus. no delays on the 1st verse, except after she finishes certain words, then full on delays after every word on the second verse.. the buildup is really nice.. great mix down. she's amazing talent. such believability and likability. she makes herself one of the audience that they can relate to. with all due respect, quite ordinary looks, which is quite the charm, especially in a market crowded with pounds of makeup, puffy lips and gross fake sex appeal.. shes really wonderful.
