I was just watching the episode last night of the cosplayer who wanted extremely large breasts (hers were already ridiculously large and she had plenty of surgery) to fit the look of cartoons. When she was trying on lingerie for the cosplay she was complains about how it looks and her boyfriend said “well you know what they say when you can’t fix it yourself?” And they both said surgery/science. She literally just spoke about how she hated her body all her life. Maybe these women need different support systems.

SupremePrestige absolutely he should tell her she can’t do that! Just like you should tell someone who is a drug addict or self harming etc. that it’s unacceptable! NOT telling them to stop is enabling them. He’s obviously just as mentally unstable as she is though. I’m very happily married and if I’m doing something unhealthy and my husband refuses to accept it, that is called love. We’re not talking about control here, it’s not like controlling ones clothing choices or choosing their friends; those things are abusive. But demanding that your partner does not abuse themselves is absolutely a good thing.

Thank you for explaining the tissue expander - you actually just educated me on how a friend got her new breasts after surviving cancer (I was always curious but didn’t want to ask her too many questions as she’d been through a lot)
Actually there’s a third step for breast reconstruction. You wake up with expanders in place and a bit filled - so not flat with a big scar. After the tissue expander is filled with saline to the desired size, you wait a few months and then that tissue expander is exchanged for a final implant. Sometimes surgeons will do a fat transfer from thighs to make the implants look more natural. This fat transfer is sort of like a liposuction but will not achieve the same results on the legs. The recovery of the exchange surgery is minimal compared to the double mastectomy. The fat transfer can be pretty brutal. Lots of bruising and tingling - months and months of healing. I don’t get the lunchtime lipo procedures - it’s very invasive.

Back pain, not being able to find proper clothing, not being able to run or do a lot of exercises... it's crazy that someone would want to limit themselves purposely.

Yes, Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Youn both said it's a surgical risk because the skin has been stretched so thin.
As you get older the skin gets thinner and less elastic...so it is a possibility since it's already stretched so thin. Unless an accident happens sooner, causing a tear. (I'm not a doc though)

Since it’s sailine it would be sterile so it wouldn’t be horrible but if that were to happen she would need to be rushed to the Er immediately to get it drained then she’d have to have some sort of reconstructive surgery and have either no implants or smaller ones because the skin will be so stretched out because of the huge implants she currently has
@@mallorycarney5128 the saline isnt the issue..the issue is the material that the implants are made of and reactions of the body. A lot of women have had reactions to the silicone, one being the scarring issue he mentions. This woman was lucky she didnt get some kind of infection.

That's the disturbing thing, because they are silicon they wont sag like natural breast as she ages. They will drop but will keep their overall shape meaning she'll have those bowling balls resting around her navel if they dont pop, if they pop she'll just have the probably around 2-3 feet long sagging flesh streamers which she would probably have to have surgically repaired and new skin grafted juts to have a normal looking FLAT chest again. People who do this kind of shit to their bodies dont under the repercussions that will one day come from messing with their bodies so much, I mean hell if you know what a Hermes Gauge is those people will be lucky to be able to walk in a couple years after that.

This sounds crazy but your channel is absolutely helping me with my own body image issues. I'm so self conscious about my breasts and my body, but watching other people ruin their bodies in the name of beauty helps me realize my own person beauty the way i am. 💕 If i ever modify my body I'm going to do it safely.

Well said dear. Therapy is also less expensive than a plastic surgery. I believe in working from inside out. First mental health, if possible at the same time improving your lifestyle (healthy body for a healthy mind and viceversa), then if you want cosmetic invasive procedures, go ahead and be a responsible patient, get a responsible professional and may the force be with you.

My breasts were naturally bigger than my own head, I couldn't imagine having these issues with Body dysmorphia. I was blessed with a breath reduction and had complications from it. I had to have an emergency surgery the next day to fix bleeding. And then I had it had issues healing and finally healed.
I never want another procedure ever!! I can't imagine her lining up for the next surgery
