Author's summary
Bakugou Katsuki was born with a soulmark on his calf that bonded him to Midoriya Izuku. A mark that burned him every time he hurt his soulmate, not that it ever stopped him - he was just careful about doing it.
But there’s a reason the mark burns; Fate is warning him of her displeasure, and ignoring the burn for too long during battle trials results in Fate taking drastic action.
Suddenly, Bakugou has only blackened flesh where the mark used to be, Midoriya’s arm looks as if he never had a mark in the first place, and Markless Todoroki Shouto steps up to help Midoriya through the difficulty of suddenly losing a soulbond.
When Todoroki and Midoriya clash during the Sports Festival, Fate decides to interfere again - though for a much nicer reason, this time.
