Aspace For3 visits with Pilot David at the Historic Miami Seaplane Base x44 formally known as Chalks.Not only does it have an incredible history since 1926 and its Chalks Days with Miami Vice Tv Show features. It still remains a fully operation seaplane base / terminal in the beautiful city of Miami, Florida right of Watson Island. Great place to visit. Epic views and friendly staff. Really appreciate you posting this video. Very true, the Miami Seaplane Base is historic. Chalk's Ocean Airways was also an historic airline. It was just tragic how everything came to an end. Tropic Ocean Airways flies out of here but its not the same level of a schedule as Chalk's had. Maybe Tropic will grow to that size. I'm sorry I missed the chance to fly the Grumman Mallards out to Bimini, or Paradise Island. They were bigger then the Caravans. May this seaplane base, one day, return to its former glory. Thanks again.
