Houston Christian University pays tribute to the life and legacy of HCU Founding Father Dr. Stewart Morris, Sr., a man of faith, character and vision, who played a pivotal role in the founding and growth of Houston Business College, and its transition to Houston Baptist University, and now Houston Christian University. His steadfast commitment to HCU's mission of providing a learning experience that instills in students a passion for academic, spiritual and professional excellence as a result of the University's central confession, " Jesus Christ is Lord," will be remembered. His legacy will live on.
