I love this video! My top 10 favorite tropes (and a recommendation for each) are: 1. Bodyguard- Hold Onto Me by Sierra Cartwright 2. Virgin Heroine- The Virgin Gift by Lauren Blakely 3. Brother's best friend- Sinner by Sierra Simone 4. Doctor/Patient- Dirty Therapy by Tara Crescent 5. Bad Boy- Bedding the Bad Boy by Virna DePaul 6. Sports romances- Offside Hearts by Nikki Lawson 7. Protective cowboys- Gavin by BJ Wane 8. Paranormal- Banshee Cry by Jen Katemi 9. Road Trip romances- The Playlist by Morgan Elizabeth 10. Small town- The Magnolia Inn by Anne-Marie Meyers
So cool to have followed your channel a while and be able to guess what books you’re going to pair with each trope!! I hadn’t read much romance before taking some of your recs for some of these (language barrier, grumpy sunshine, and bodyguard, especially!) so it’s also super cool to be more familiar with some of these books and be like “oh you’re so right, this trope MADE this book!” I’m not usually a brothers best friend girlie, but Sinner by Sierra Simone has me rethinking that stance, and I love a practical/feet on the ground heroine so Ensnared by the Basilisks by Lillian Lark was great for me too 🪐
Hey Ava here's my favorite romances and their tropes 1. Age Gap what it was meant to be by QB Tyler 2. MMF Romance or other lilac by Bebe Reed 3. Marriage in trouble Forget Me Not by QB Tyler 4. Single dad nanny ashes of you by Kathryn Cowles 5. Love triangle serenading Heartbreak by Ella fields😊
I would love a recommendation video like this of your least favourite trope but the book that is the exception to the rule. I'm not the biggest fan of virgin romances however when it's the MMC that's the virgin; it just hits different. I love the books in the Bergman Brothers series that do this, even though Everything for you is my fave. I just got Rein Me In after seeing it on your shelves, I can't wait to get to it. One of my guilty pleaser tropes is the "Teach Me" trope, where one of the MC's (usually the guy) teaches the other about dating or s*x. My favourites are -Player by Staci Hart -Blindside by Amy Daws -Wrong Mr Right by Stephanie Archer 🪐🌍🪐
I love the teach me trope as well. you might like Bedding the Wrong Brother by Virna DePaul, Sinner by Sierra Simone, No More Mister Nice Guy by Amy Andrews and Bedding the Best Friend by Virna DePaul
