The first grave digger was painted by my dad. Glenn Brunner and the art work was Fred Bowman. My pops still has the drivers door with Dennis’s name on it.

Used to love watching Monster Jam in the mornings turned me into a car guy
Same. Its amazing to see how far the sport has come. There was a time where basically if you rolled the truck you were done. Nowadays trucks can go through so much more and perform way better.
@Conor never was able to sadly but was able to go to a few shows in anaheim.
My father was able to watch trucks like USA-1 and Snake Bite during racing matches in the Silverdome and other places.
Conor I remember seeing it at a hockey arena in Florida. Jet engines are quieter than that show

I've seen the Grave Digger live at a Monster-Truck-Show here in my little city in Germany, together with Bigfoot, Blue Thunder, and a few other legendary Trucks. And what an amazing experience this was for me as a teenager seeing all these famous Trucks live that I knew from TV, crushing cars, jumping over a row of cars, doing wheelies and other crazy stuff.
They we're at Walmart back in 2005(I guess it was), when Walmart was still in GE, but just a short while after Walmart shut it's doors in GE completely.

I remember watching Monster Truck sometimes when I was in highschool, the Grave Digger was literally the reason started my interest of using green as a color on designing car liveries, I never like green before that.
when I saw the grave digger for the first time I loved it. got to see it in my town and it was cool. I can see why so many people love monster trucks, just the amount of power to stunts like that amazes me.

I met Dennis Anderson at his shop when I was 11 . He held the door open for my father and I . I had just bought a shirt from his shop and was too timid to say hello . After the cashier told my father who held the door open for us he couldn’t believe I didn’t say anything . Not any more. Bigfoot has been basically irrelevant for 20 years. That means if you started watching monster jam at any point during that time, and never saw trucks before, you don't know who bigfoot is. It's a shame that bigfoot was never on board but there are many more popular trucks now a days. 20 year olds and younger have little idea who bigfoot is.

@Jeremy Backman Yeah they were cool but they were also punishing to drive. A lot of the early monster truck guys ended up with back injuries and broken bones. They were dangerous, broke a lot and couldn't perform at the same level as the current ones.
Bigfoot IS the most well known MONSTER TRUCK!!...Grave Digger is the most well known MONSTER JAM TRUCK!!..Bigfoot is still very much alive and well but doesn't have the publicity machine behind it like Grave Digger.. People tend to forget that without Bigfoot or Bob Chandler there would be no MONSTER JAM!!..
I remember when i lived in ct i went with my cub scouts group to go see a monster truck show(idk the proper term.) but my 8 year old mind was blown when i saw grave digger my friend ben and i took pictures next to it. it was one of the coolest days of my life.

I remember the first time that I saw a Monster Jam show transmitted there in Italy, and it was amazing! Grave Digger, El Toro Loco and Blue Thunder was my favourite of all!
