    Ah West End Sport and Tackle. That’s going back a few years. I worked there casually in my youth. I still remember the smell of one of the owners vehicles after 3 weeks of carrying around the tail of 104kg yellowfin tuna he caught. Keep’em coming Ed.

    Great video on Night fishing of the beach!! well done. How far above the hooks was the float you put on, I ill certainly be modifying my rigs with this adition to avoid rays and shovel nose. What is the make and model of the reel? cheers

    • @letsgofishing3249
      @letsgofishing3249  2 месяца назад

      I had the float closed to the ganged hooks about an inch or so. The reel is a Shimano Sedona 6000 I said a 4000 on the video but it's a 6000

    Great effort landing that Jew. Great idea with the float to keep bait off the bottom. I’m sure that will keep the crabs off my bait as well. Thank you for sharing. I’m so envious. Looks like a trip to visit my daughter at Old Bar is going to happen soon. Lol. What month was this filmed if you don’t mind me asking.

    New to your site,great info on the fishing.....what size are your gangs you used on the slab bait and pillies

    • @letsgofishing3249
      @letsgofishing3249  4 месяца назад +1

      I normally use size 3/0 depending on the size of the tailor I'm chasing.
