That ending was exactly what I was thinking. And that laughter after Seth said that. He really gives me Dexter vibes. But maybe that is because of the movie clip setting the scene.
Not just horror. He’s kind of a modern Roger Corman. Brilliant at producing high-quality low budget films of many kinds… The movies that often get ignored by other producers. He also produced the underrated TV western series “good Lord Bird” didn’t get nearly the attention it deserves
If I remember correctly, the Astro van was also the van that was reported to have been used by the then-unknown DC sniper. Though in the end, it turned out that was wrong.
Lol I don’t think collecting them as a kid is creepy, I honestly did the same for a bit, but keeping them for decades afterwards…some serial killer vibes there lol but like Stephen King, I think he channels those feelings into art rather than acting on them
It is great to hear Jason Blum talk about his mother, Dr, Shirley Blum, brilliant art history (High Ital. Renaissance) professor at UCR, as well as being involved in the premiere contemporary art gallery in Los Angeles, Ferus. It is apparent to see where Jason got his artistic flair and penchant for collecting. .
I’ve never heard of this guy (not big on horror) but he is hilarious and they have a great rapport. Loved this interview
Same here, good conversation.
Check out The Roundtables - he's done some of those in the past.
