If you are playing ranged and struggling with the mechanic I discuss at 2:51 in this video, you can actually avoid it but you have to be very far away and quite mobile. @donPascquale has a kill video showing this on his channel. god damn I was struggling with this boss due to the fact I'm ranged and had no idea the animation changed depending on how far away you are! life saver

Hmm I was hoping for some sort of extra tip/trick here. Somehow on the Eyeball boss me and another guy have about the same time so I can conclude we do about the same DPS, but on the rock boss he only took half as long as me so he's got some secret sauce. I did as you in this video except I used Precision dash to escape his circle and then dash back in, and I also used the dagger teleport behind the boss to completely ignore the second wave of lightning but still took me 4 min
I discuss/show this at 2:51. You need to play in melee range up close or very very far out, someone in comments mentioned if you are far enough out it won't get you.
You can do any of these gate of infinity as a fresh LVL 50 with blue gear ~1600-2000 gear score. Your damage will be low but if you do mechanics you can still do it, will just be harder
is this different for ranged attackers? he hits ground two times and the electricity is everywhere edit - nevermind he noticed at the end, thanks a lot man!
i was doing this as long bow and double crosspistols and he does an attack where he slams the ground once with each fist that shoots out an arena wide shockwave and it stuns me out of the perfect parry every time. I don't know how to deal w/ it but I noticed he doesn't do it in your fight, is there any reason for that and how do I deal w/ that attack?
Yep I talk about this, go to 2:51 if you aren't in melee range of the boss when he would normally do the stomp circle he damages the entire room - basically they are forcing ranged players to also do the jump lightning circle mechanic rather than just staying out of his range
So to answer your question directly, you can play bow/xbow but you need to play in melee range or you'll take that room-wide damage that is unavoidable

That fuckign first slam is so inconsistant - sometimes your timig is bad, but still it does not hit you and you just run off, othertimes you clearly time it right and it just sucks you back in - litteraly impossible to do
Yup, it's very janked, I thought it might have just been Australian latency - I often got sucked back over the line or straight up stunn even though I was out of it haha oh well
He is extremly easy ... he always does the same attacks and if you have good dps, he won't do much attacks. I kill him in 2min42 and I only have 2200 gearscore.
this is the most anoying gate of infinity boss... mostly because you cant even make a single mistake, once you get stunned, you have half second to react when you exit stun, otherwise you gonna get stunned again, no wonder why people finish it in 40 seconds, its so anoying that its better to deal tons of damage and skip the suffering. Id rather receive tons of damage than getting perma stunned

Good guide. I literally tried anything to avoid that super long lightning ring stun, never thought of jumping out.

@@WilstormGaming the circle is not for entire room, there is a bit of space at the furthest point, i used to dodge it that way
