Yes, Gaga and Beyonce's version was much better.
This was a pop culture mash-up from all angles. The two "guards" who brought Gaga to her cell are (or were) professional wrestlers; the "Prison Break" prison vibe/setting; the Pussy Wagon from Tarantino's "Kill Bill vol. 1"; and the Thelma & Louise dialogue & handclasp at the end of the video. Gaga covered all the bases and then some in this video.
I didn't get any of those whilst watching the MV. I should of got the Kill Bill bit! Used to love that movie 😅-dave
