Brianna! I love, love, love your videos so much. The amount of energy and enthusiasm you put into these videos make my day whole! Thank you so much for making videos that make people’s days. 💗
We usually do laundry Thursday/Friday(start Thursday, finish Friday), unless there’s something we’re needing before then. And for makeup brushes, just like you I hadn’t really thought to clean them 🫣, but your trick looked like it cleaned them up so well! I will be making a soap and mat purchase soon! Thank you for taking us into your world while you declutter! Always motivating! Hope you’re feeling better too🫶🏻
I found your channel because of your Disney cruise vlogs and I’m obsessed! We are so similar! 😅💛 My hubby and I do the backwards hangers in our closet at the beginning of the year, and whatever hangers we don’t turn around by the end of the year- we donate! It helps me visually recognize that I haven’t worn an item in 365 days… so I must not love it or need it!🤷🏼♀️
My husband and I both WFH and have a kid living away at college. Our set laundry day is Monday. I wake up and strip the bed to have sheets and muslin blanket split into the first two loads. (I have been burned too many times washing bedding last and it not being ready when I am ready for bed!) I walk through the house and collect towels from kitchen and all bathrooms to wash with the sheets. Then we normally have one load of clothes from the previous week. (I wash darks and lights together.) Bed is put back together on lunch break and clothes are put away after work. I started this last summer and it has been working so well. The Monday works so that I am not doing any laundry on the weekends and the washer and dryer are free if the kid comes home and needs to do any loads.
I ordered zote soap it came in today and I used it and it worked really good thank you very much I got to invest in that map next I usually do them every other week they they weren't really that dirty but I could see all the stuff that was coming out of them so I love that soap I want to use that all the time now thank you very much I appreciate it
I usually give my brushes a good quick shake over the tub (so I don’t get water every where) and squeeze out any excess before reshaping them and laying them out flat to dry! Like think one or two really quick shakes, like when you’re trying to get the last of the ketchup to come to the top of the bottle you know? lol usually works for me, I’ll wash them in the morning or afternoon after I’ve done my make up and then they’re good to dry overnight!
I have two flannels. I love the colors so I'm not getting rid of them. They will come back in style someday. I usually just leave my brushes sit overnight. 😊😊
Thanks for this video Brianna. Almost done decluttering on my end, so you are the last bit of motivation to finish. For me personally, I do laundry at work, so usually procrastinating doing it at home. Almost caught up though. Makes you feel better when your space is refreshed. Hope your throat feels better soon.. 🤎✨️
One tip I’ve always followed when washing makeup brushes: don’t submerge the brush handle in water. Just use enough liquid to soak the bristles only, that way you don’t risk damaging the glue that holds the bristles onto the handle!
I have two set laundry days. I do laundry on Mondays and Thursdays. For the record it’s just my husband and I (both in our 50’s) and my youngest son (23) is still at home since he just graduated college and is looking for full time employment. My hubby and son know I start laundry very early on those two days so if they don’t have their clothes in the laundry room they will not be washed by me and they will have to do their own. By early I mean I usually start at the 4-5 am hour before heading to the gym. I’m fortunate enough to work from home everyday except Tuesday’s I have to go to the office so having a set laundry schedule helps me stay on top of it and balance work and home chores.
I think I need to do this too! I also work from home full time but having set laundry days feels like it will keep me way more on track to get things done. And, Monday is right after the weekend and Thursday is most of the week. Love this idea!
This sounds ridiculous with the laundry but my fiance and I have 3 bins. One for colors, one for whites, and one for darks (think jeans, black clothing etc.) I try to do a load every other day so it doesn't pile up. I tend to avoid it when we have more of it and this makes the laundry a little more approachable for me.
An HOUR long video I am SO excited for my kiddos to go to sleep so I can grab a lil treat and spend my relax time watching this!! 🩷 you are 100% my comfort creator 🥰💛
For laundry, I do 1-2 different types of loads every day of the week, except for Saturday and Sunday (that’s just because I don’t want to do laundry those days lol). For example, you can do darks on Monday, towels on Tuesday, whites on Wednesday, and so on. And if you wear a lot of darks for example, you can do them twice a week, darks Mondays and Thursdays. I do a delay wash at night for the next day so I just wake up and switch them to the dryer. And I fold the laundry from the previous day not that days laundry. If you wash darks on Mondays and towels on Tuesdays, I will fold + put away the darks on Tuesday and the towels on Wednesday.
When I clean my brushes if I need them that day, I’ll usually swirl and rub them dry on a bath towel. That usually gets enough water out for them to feel a tiny bit cool to the touch from the water, but usable and won’t ruin your products. I have also used a blow dryer but I personally don’t like how when you hold the brush directly in front of the heat, the force of air can misshape your bigger brushes so I usually towel dry and use, or towel dry most of the way and let them sit overnight!
Would you ever be interested in filming a budgeting video? I’ve been super interested in budgeting lately and with the new year it seems to be a hot topic! Just an idea!
I learned something from you cleaning your makeup brushes I'm going to start your drying my makeup brushes and that oil that you soak them in I'm going to buy some of that
I need to do my bedroom I have my grandson's in a laundry basket I started to put some in trash bags close at summer clothes I put it in my storage room you better try to make room in his drawer he has a dresser at my house for him so I need to get that project done soon

that is so smart! my mom actually said the same thing so the wood doesn't get yucky and damaging the glue!
10:01 oh my gosh i need to know where to buy this little cutie change purse 🥹🫶🏻
that's a long champ coin purse! I got it as a gift from my mother in law ❤

We have a hamper that is divided into three so I don't think it's ridiculous, it's helpful when it's all separate!

maybe in the future! I don't really excel in finances so I don't know if I would however never say never!!
A lot of people wear flannel shirts under coat while snow skiing.
oh that's smart!
Where did you get your hoodie??
it's from Abercrombie - my most worn sweatshirt in my closet! bit.ly/4h7VNVO
I use a towel to dry them

Flannels need to be folded . Maybe do a house clothes drawer. I don’t wear them outside.
i plan to add them to my fall clothes bin!

A load a day keeps the piles away lol. I literally wash clothes every single day
my dad washes clothes every single day too
Fall/winter with legging and a beanie only. Hanging, errands, brewery. Otherwise not really!
I feel like I never gravitate to them!

I think I will eventually donate them too, however i'm gonna give them one more chance!
Loved this vlog! It’s always great to find a cash full of money!! Where’s Corey? Miss Corey content lol. RIP flannels
Cory was out of town for work, but he joins in the vlogs whenever he's around!
