- Musicians Institute and Guitar World bring you a series of guitar lessons with some of the top guitar instructors around.
In this video, blues master Keith Wyatt gives a lesson on Fills.
Keith thank you for not only teaching us how to play The Blues,but for also helping us to understand the meaning of Blues, your video's leave nothing out, GREAT.
Keith is the best instructor I've ever seen/heard.
Ba daba doo ba doo ba, blaaang...Keith is the man.
One of the very best lessons I have ever seen in all the years of surfing online whilst looking for guitar instruction that wasn't aimed at the complete beginner.
What a legend! I have been learning so many tips and tricks from Keith! This guy is a guitar god! I love his personality and the way he explains things! Amazing player!
One of the best articulators / guitarist demonstrating the ideas of guitar playing. Cheerz!
Learned so much from Keith. Many thanks!
You always bring a smile to my mug. I remember a few songs leaping from the radio going back 60 years now, Like a Rolling Stone, I want to Hold your Hand, You ain't Nothin' but a Hound Dog, Astral Weeks. And yes, SRV. I had heard a lot of music in the years leading up to that single. As the old trope goes, it was like the very first time. Thank You.
Love hearing you play. You are very good.Please keep giving lessons. God bless you
Thanks so much for talking about it. Feel is everything...
Best guitar instructor ever.
Regards from Argentina!
Excellent topic, well presented and responsible for a breakthrough. Thanks.
This is a GREAT lesson.
HOW CAN YA NOT LOVE HIS PLAYING AND HIM AS A TEACHER .AWESOME TO HIM HI 5 TO AND BEST TO HIM ALWAYS
Keith, your voice so wow either with your guitar playing!
LOVED IT AND WILL BE BACK....
stupendous lesson
I'd give up on a lot of things just to be able to get blues lessons from Wyatt so I think a big thanks should go out to Guitar World!
beautiful lesson
Great stuff!
Very cool lesson !
I love Jerry Donahu as much as I do Steve Howe. Blues/jazz/rock whatever. A 175 or a Tele or a bunch of strings over an old biscuit tin. If the feeling is right, everythings' ok. Nice tutorial if a little teasing. That Gold Top sounds the business in your hands.
cheers keith. you gotta love the blues !!
Excellent Mr. Wyatt!
Wow! Great lesson. More please.
p90's = great blues tone.
I'm digging his gold top.
I was going to get the epi version, but ended up getting a new fender tele thin line with F hole and p90's. I like it
Very helpful and informative, thanks, Keith.
What a great lesson
what a tasteful playing. he should make a blue album.
excellent teacher
That is so cool i will learn it when i have time
another great lesson!!!
Thanks for the great lesson
thanks man and god bless u
great teacher!
Great stuff.
badabing badaboom! i love blues so much..
THE BEST TEACHER EVER!
first ever lesson where the guy is going "ba da ba da BWAANG " lol ten thumbs up and a big toe too
Gold dust. Ta fella.
@pompa98 It's just the middle position. It sounds like that cause the pickups are parallel in the middle position.
Love it Mr. Wyatt! You are awesome. Are they going to make a complete DVD series out of all of this?????? Please.
Great guy
i like the intro alot!
yea definitely sounds like a backing track of strange brew in the beginning
@eukicos would be nice, but these videos are actually from the Guitar World magazine's online content.
Vocabulblaaa .. vocabulary !
Great guy
Thanks - top!
great.........
mmm mmm mmm .. Keih is like Yoda...The ultimate jedi blues master!
GREAT
what about a solo 'musicians institute' chanel with all this good lessons?
Very nice, but can't help but to wonder if your plugged into that 5150 in the backround. What would BB think! =)
And he can sing as well!
Just found you. How do I find your instructional stuff?
You can feel the experience here. Quality!!
My favorite "call and response" would probably be from Poundcake by Van Halen
Damnit i love a Goldtop Les Paul. although i do prefer a Les Paul with the standard double humbuckers instead of the P 90s.
Why ppl hit dislike??? 😳 Are they from another planet guitarist?
This is an example of when talking is useful during a lesson. Otherwise I'd be thinking shut the front door and play!
@davidmckenna96 actually, it's merci merci merci... :)
Badaa badoo badi ba-blim!
Badda badoo badigadi,
BLENG!!!!
Look at that Les Paul!
@LOKOLOKO52 I agree
Ha ha ha... When he was saying "what I just played there was a bunch of sh..." I swore to god he was gonna say... well you know haha
@xMrCustom24x because it has P-90s
@pompa98 its the p-90's, and believe it or not some people like them.
haha Aweseom!!
;)))))))))))))))) thank you .. Thanks :)
A little theory
useful
He's not dead or retired so he has still got that phd! ;D
the ending is hilarious.. but nice playing!
Does anyone know what rhythm machine he is using?
♪ ♫ ♪ ...& now my car wont even start....LOL
Were can I get the tab?
Thanks!
Darren Price
@UnknownMisfit1 bing ba da boom....
@outtacastatv lets see you play some blues. I doubt you can play better than him
"please god help me I can't get out of this room oh god oh god"
the missing link is Phil? But who is Phil?
Phil Alvin. The Blasters.
How come guitars like the Tele, the 335 and your GoldTop all sound the same when you're sad and ticked off because of that dawg?
@Bollehamsteren and?
bdah - make a statement or something besides you being you
BA-DA-BA-DOO-BAP
@chhau123 his names keith wyatt....and he aint all dat......
ba-ba da boo...;)
sounds like strange breq
Please give me that Les Paul
@xMrCustom24x p 90 pick ups
I happened to watch this a day after David Bowie died
ummmm. what's with the camera work? good lessons, though.
Great lesson but talking to demonstration ratio is talk heavy.
The dog drove away your car...crashed it into a hydrant and then did what dogs' wanna do? What a pisser!
21 haters XD
No wonder this guy has the blues. He's all alone in a room playing to really cheesy backing tracks. And he's talking to a ghost.
Sry, this is just a bore. Two thumbs down.
Bruh you're an amazing true blues player but please don't sing anymore my God that was tourture (lol)
I happened to watch this a day after David Bowie died
