Thanks so much for making this video Eddy and Lauren!!! I’ve been wondering how that whole thing worked pretty much since day # one. 😉 AMAZING!!! I’d love to see you make another video when the birds are there in the summer time. You might have to wear a total body plastic covering though. LOL Glad you didn’t get sprayed with manure and even more glad WE don’t get the smell on a video. 😂
I was mixing feed when i got the video notification.....i must confess i don't always watch cause im usually busy so i listen..... i thought maybe Eddie knew something that the little wifey didn't. about the blast zone at pit🤣🤣🤣🤣 so i had to get a visual........ I had to go back to part when you were explaining the life of a dairycow....... cause i didn't hear the dairycow part of the equation. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 at first I was thinking you sure do a lot of pooping for a little gal..... im sure glad i listened for a second time
We had manure system back in day call avacuair.you fill a big tank with staple cleaner and close led and it had big compression and tank you hit switch it came out a 2 foot tube like big turd yes pick the pac cultivate it is a disaster. Ya had pack barn to .love your cowss and your school girl querkyness
Love your guys barn, is there any videos that have the dimensions of the main barn, not just the milk house? From PEI, hoping the build a new freestall in the next few years. Keep up with the great content!!
That was a great video! That may have been nasty, but the blow out was fantastic! Impressive. What PSI is going through that pipe? Thanks for explaining.
Hi Brian, Apparently they last about as long with sand as regular bedding manure. We used stainless cable first. Lasts about 12 months. I’ve heard other guys that don’t use sand maybe get little more then 12 months but not much more. Now we have cable wrapped with rope. It’s more expensive but supposedly last a few years. Even in a sand barn.
You guys have the cleanest cows
Thanks!
Thanks for explaining the system!
First time I've seen the pneumatic blowdown for the manure pipe, great idea!
Awesome video Lauren!!
That blast was unbelievable!!
Thanks for explaining the system.
Gotta love the sand bedding. Its the way to go
Hi Lauren. GREAT job. We really appreciate watching. Keep up the good work!

Fun to watch! But I am glad I'm sitting on MY side of a 36" hi-def monitor and not standing on YOUR side. . .

Thanks Riley! Thanks for watching. I’m not sure. Maybe one of the first videos, if you go back.
But I believe the barn is 72’x256’
Almost 100 stables.

Hey! psi is 100
I've heard the sand is really hard on those cables. Have you had to replace them yet, if not how long do you think they will last?
